Music can help as a coping strategy when experiencing anxiety, stress and  mood disorders. Similarly , research suggests that it can be effective for managing dementia. 

As you listen, pay attention to identify various instruments, rhythm, tempo, harmony, melody and lyrics where necessary and notice your somatic bodily sensations, thoughts, feelings and behavioural responses to  music.
