I had an experience this past Friday that left me a little...raw...

I was MAJORLY triggered by something a very well-meaning person said, but it left me feeling pretty down. My non-enough-ness meter was off the charts. In fact, it bothered me all the way through Monday AM. 

Maybe you've experienced something like this. Someone did or said something that didn't appear to be offensive at all, but ended up throwing you for a loop. 

When we're triggered, our nervous systems go right back to the first time something like this happened and our brains are no longer operating from a place of logic, but instead, survival.
