Speaker 2:Hi everyone and welcome back to Upload your Life with Mindy. I'm your host, mindy Duff, and I've got a very special episode today with some very special guests along beside me here. This is an important topic. We're going to be talking about mental health, which I'm sure everyone listening recognizes that mental health is just a huge, huge problem in our society right now and there's a lot of people out there with different tips and tricks. But I have two very special people with me today. I have Dr Nicole Sebastian and her husband, professor Michael Sebastian, and they're going to be talking about some very specific things that can help you. Even today.
Speaker 2:When you're done listening to this episode, you're going to have a really, really powerful tool to walk away with. That's going to help you if you're someone that ever experiences anxiety of any form and, let's face it, if you've got a pulse, you've probably experienced anxiety at some point, right? So let me tell you just a brief bit about Dr Nicole and Professor Mike here. They are the visionary founders of Divine Guidance Institute, the creators of the Trust Yourself System, leading a global awakening through knowingness, spiritual activators, modern mystics and authors of four books. They have been featured on A&E, e, vh1, xm, serious, and countless other different podcasts and other media places as well. So welcome to the show, dr Nicole and Professor Mike. How are you guys?
Speaker 3:Mindy, good Thanks for having us.
Speaker 4:Looking forward really.
Speaker 2:I like to read your bios, but I always like to have my guests tell a little bit about themselves in your own words. We kind of heard the formal version here, but in your own words what is it that you're? What do you do? What's your mission? What are you guys all about?
Speaker 3:Okay, so glad you asked the whole mission. You know we've been studying and working with and experimenting with divine guidance and decision making and, knowing this, for 30 years We've been together 30 years. Our anniversary is this Monday and that is our forte. We are the global authority on divine guidance and how God, holy Spirit or the universe, depending on one's belief system connects and communicates with each of us humans 24-7. Dreams while we're sleeping, signs and intuition while we're awake. And we have our signature tool that we're going to share that heightens all of those abilities, in addition with the mental health crisis. So that's our gig. That's why we founded the Institute, the Nonprofit Institute, and, yeah, it's our passion.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and what an important passion to have. I'm glad you guys are up there doing what you're doing, thank you. Let's talk about the mental health epidemic. I guess we'll call it right now Crisis, if you will. So I know that you know I mentioned that anxiety affects so many people. Everyone listening has experienced some small level of it, if not larger. What can you tell us about? I know you have a little more information on this mental health crisis and what are you seeing?
Speaker 3:Well, even when we go to a restaurant, you know, like just last week I heard about a suicide just last week, like so-and-so's cousin second cousin committed suicide. This is a guy that's a lawyer and he just got his MBA, married with two kids and, poof, you know, committed suicide. The week before that I supervised a couple therapists as well and I was talking to her and her cousin, who's a big wig, with one of the airlines in Houston. He just committed suicide. No, no, no, it's like it's a thing now. I mean, yes, anxiety and PTSD and depression, the norm is all elevated. I mean, we're at almost a 50% rate for depression, for for anxiety, and this is just in the USA, you know, and and that's only people that have actually identified these things. You know, because truly, like you mentioned, everyone's had a tinge of anxiety or deals with it on the regular. You know, even Michael PTSD from Vietnam.
Speaker 4:So I mean we're talking global.
Speaker 4:We fear suicidal ideation is really a personal story and we've been through those things ourselves and then we've brought it to the forefront so we can provide others with some of the things solutions that we've found.
Speaker 4:Like when I came back from Vietnam, it was severe, I'd been in the infantry combat, blah, blah, blah and it was real, very severe a lot of anxiety, depression, suicidal, every day, and I was headed down toward the VA to get some treatment and I found a tool, one of the tools that we use, and we'll probably talk about that later in a little more detail. But I decided to go ahead and employ that and try it on a daily basis and it literally very quickly got rid of the anxiety, the depression, the suicidal ideation, the nightmares, the fear. I mean it just went and it was a vibrational toning technique that we now share with others and I, you know, I couldn't actually I couldn't believe it that it really worked that effectively and that quickly, and so, consequently, it became one of our we call it one magic word. It became our major focus and tool for sharing it with the public, especially today, with all the increased suicidal rates. Everybody's got anxiety. I don't know anyone who doesn't suffer from anxiety now, so it's important.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it's so important and something that I love about it is it's so simple and it's free. I mean, it's not, it's it's nothing, that it's something that you do. It's not something that has to be time consuming, and we'll we'll get to it in a little bit here on exactly how to do it. But again, they're talking about um, like a toning. You know, you're, you're making a sound, you're doing something with your body.
Speaker 2:So this is something that you could have, you know, negative two cents in your bank account, and it doesn't matter. You can still do this. You don't need a fancy prescription that's going to mess with other medications and do other weird things to your body that you don't like. You don't need, you know, not to say that there's not a place for some of these other methods and modalities, but this is something very accessible that can help immediately in that moment of anxiousness or, you know, panic attacks, et cetera. So I think that's really, really important and that's why I wanted to have you on the show to get this out there to as many people as possible.
Speaker 2:Let's spread the word here because it is so simple to do and everybody should just know how to do this. They should teach it in schools that this is just a thing that you could do. So I am interested. First, I want to hear a little bit about the history. I know you've talked about this. The history of this kind of toning goes back 5,000 years. Is that correct? Yes, Tell me a little bit about the history of this, so you're not the first ones that have noticed that this is a thing.
Speaker 3:yeah, egypt back to egypt. You want to go ahead?
Speaker 4:ancient, ancient egypt will go to 5 000 years. Actually it goes back. We've tracked it back 15 000 years. But as you bring it up, like, what scientifically or academically can they track and verify? For sure we can take it back 5 000 years to ancient egypt and the like, the, the pyramids and the, the gisa plateau and the great pyramid, and they used to literally everyone would gather there every evening and they would chant the word hue, like starting at dusk all the way till dawn, approximately a 12 hour toning chant or toning technique, and it literally when you have that amount of people in that community they are going through this every day it literally changes the whole vibration of the place and it's really actually in many ways.
Speaker 4:Sometimes, if I'm talking to scientists and people who are skeptics, I talk about it in terms of quantum physics and they go oh, okay, now I begin to understand it and I've been studying quantum as a hobby for 30 years and when we change the vibration according to quantum this isn't speculation you literally change the reality. You know, you walk into a room and you go, oh, it's a good vibe in here, or God, I love Chicago because it has a good vibe. Philadelphia pretty much sucks. I don. I love Chicago because it has a good vibe. Philadelphia pretty much sucks. I don't like Philadelphia. It's got a bad vibe and it's the vibration. We either harmonize with it and you can change the vibration from a negative vibration to a very positive vibration by simply toning, by going, and when you do it in a group it has obviously a greater effect, a bigger vortex that you can really like in ancient Egypt 5,000 years ago, and that's when it began. You want to kick in.
Speaker 3:Yeah, there's a few more things I'd like to share. It's actually it comes from the word human. The word hue comes from the word human and it's in the Oxford English Dictionary and it means God-man, god within man, human, human. So that's actually the Hugh is an ancient sacred name for God that in our research we found in 14 different religions and their sacred book. The Freemasons recognize it. It's the Bible, the Quran, the Kabbalah, 14 different yeah, yeah, yeah, and the dictionary, and all the way back to Egypt.
Speaker 3:So this thing, people knew about it, people used to use it. Then they forgotten, forgotten all the good stuff, and here we are today, a mess, right? Yes? So Michael and I, like he mentioned you know that's. That's the mission. The mission is to bring back one magic word, uh, which is something we've coined. We also coined one step therapy. You know this or that, depending on uh. You know, um your mood, what you're in the mood for. But, um, the cool thing, you can do it out, loud or silent. But um, the cool thing, you can do it out loud or silent, eyes open or close. It's like the way to meditate without meditating. Yeah, you don't have to get yoga'd out, you don't have to be alone in a room. It doesn't have to be quiet. You could be at the grocery store doing the dishes and uh, and getting yourself all tuned up so it.
Speaker 2:it's interesting that you say that you can do it silently as well, and I think I have some guesses in my brain on why, just based on other people I've interviewed on podcasts. But I'm curious to hear in your words why would this? If we're changing frequencies and we're making this tone, why would that work? If it's internal, why should, why wouldn't it be something that you would have to do out loud all the time? How did, why would it work internally?
Speaker 3:the imagination, yeah yeah, the imagination doesn't know the difference between something real or something you know imagined, if will, internal or in the mind. So by hewing silently through your imagination, you're still affecting your atoms and your central nervous system. And just think a person has a nightmare right and they wake up and their heartbeats go in and they're anxious. That happened internally, but the results are external.
Speaker 2:So it's on that same same line of thinking you know, yeah, just kind of like how you know, you always hear professional athletes that do a lot of visualization and they say that you know, practice that golf swing a thousand times mentally and then I go to actually do it. You know, your brain doesn't necessarily know the difference. That's why visualization is so important, but that's, I mean, that's kind of what I was thinking it would be. So, yeah, it's just no, of course it would work, it's no different. So, yeah, which makes it even more accessible Because, like you say, you could be in line at the grocery store. I mean, in some people that might be a place where you might get anxious, because maybe you're anxious about not having enough money for the groceries, maybe you're anxious because you're going to have to talk to this person that's checking you out and that makes you uncomfortable, whatever it is. But you can just silently do this and move along.
Speaker 4:And a quick story, because you mentioned it and it's funny in a way. I was teaching at a college when we were living in LA and doing other stuff, but one of the Lakers superstar and I won't say who it is, but he comes back to get his NBA at night. They kept him off the rolls and the only one who saw him was me. I was his counselor. So you know, when I met with him for the first time, I go, so you know. What do you see as your problems? Why you won't achieve your MBA here? He said Mike, are you kidding me? He said I play full time, I've got endorsements, I got a family. He said oh my God, the pressure is so great. And he said it's always been a dream to come back and get my MBA. But he said I really don't think I'm going to be able to do it. And I said, really. I said, okay, let me share something with you Whenever you have that fear, whenever you have that anxiety that you can't do it. I said you know, try this technique and it's an ancient toning technique. And I shared with him and he bust out laughing and he said I've got all these world-class problems and you've got me humming. Are you kidding me, dude? And I said hey, don't knock it till you try it. And he's a professional sports dude, he goes. Okay, that's fair enough.
Speaker 4:So a month passes, I got to meet with him again to see how the program's gone along, and as I walk in before he can even speak, I was teasing him really. I said have you been hewing? He said not only am I hewing, my family's hewing, he said the coach of the Lakers has started hewing. I said what? And he said yeah. The coach came to me and said what are you doing differently? Your game's up a level, man. He said I'm hewing. The coach said show me how to do it, I'll try that. So it works so fast and effectively that even the skeptics and the pros went oh my god yeah, it shifts the vibe, like immediately, like in, like the minute a person starts doing it.
Speaker 3:So in one minute you can literally feel you feel you feel the difference.
Speaker 2:So yeah, yeah, and I think I'm in the camp of if they were doing this in ancient Egypt, 5000 or however many years ago, like there's was a reason, right, I know sometimes people go oh, people were. They didn't know as much back then. Well, yeah, they probably knew, maybe even more than we know now. And otherwise, why would you have all these people gathered to do this? For you said 12 hours, they would sit and do this. Yeah, yeah, yeah to change, and that makes a lot of sense with what you elevate the vibe of the community.
Speaker 3:You know, and I mean truly, that's what we know.
Speaker 2:We all need that here so everyone in the united states, or the whole world, gosh for 60 seconds all at the same time to hear that even 60 seconds, you know what we used to go.
Speaker 3:We, we went on there's a show, radio show, uh, coast to coast. Am you familiar? Yeah, okay, cool. Well, we've been on that show nine times, right. So whenever we go on george, always he's like let's open the show with the hue. Let's, let's do every commercial break with the hue. Blah, blah, blah, a lot of fun with the hue. Let's, let's do every commercial break with the hue. Blah, blah, blah, blah, a lot of fun with the hue. But on one of those shows he, um, he had there he said now, everyone who's driving pull over. We're going to do a group hue. So, and that time, you know the listenership, this is before podcasts, this is, you know, we've been doing the show long time, um, over the years, and there was probably a few million on on, you know, listening at that time and he said everyone pull over and we're all going to do a hue at the same time.
Speaker 3:It was really cool, so so, yeah, I hear you.
Speaker 2:A lot of power behind it now. Okay, so I'm sure that there are some people listening that are going to go. Okay, I, that's great. I'm happy for you guys that you think you've made a change and good for the ancient Egyptians, but I don't. I don't believe it until I see it. Can you? And in the Oxford Dictionary you know it's got the power of G with ourselves and EEG testing, oximeter testing field study, vibroacoustic.
Speaker 3:It's known as vibroacoustic therapy and the cool thing, typically vibroacoustic, so that's sound, using sound and vibration from the outside. So it impacts one's central nervous system and their atoms and whatnot. The cool thing is it's from the inside out. Usually with these therapies you have to listen to something, you have to beat the drums, you've got to sit in the vibration chair, you know there's all these modalities to assist, but with this you do it yourself from the inside out. So it works twice as fast because you're actually it's you vibrating. There's not this outside apparatus affecting you, it's you. So that's why it's so powerful. The oximeter data 30 years of study and um and vibroacoustic therapy, which is which is a formal, you know research, heavily researched modality. So you know you've got all of those uh, all of uh, the data behind it.
Speaker 2:In addition, yeah, and that's interesting. I mean I know when you're talking about. Whenever I think of like vibrational healing, my mind goes to like singing bowls, which have become more and more popular. Um, I went to sound healing, a sound bath at my yoga studio just a couple weeks ago. It was delightful and they'll play these.
Speaker 2:She had crystal singing bowls and you lay there and you can be in your bodies. We're all vibrating and so the crystal singing bowls are vibrating at certain frequencies. You vibrate at a certain frequency and you can feel the vibrations from the singing bowls and that's great, um, and it's a wonderful thing. I highly encourage everybody to try it out. It's super fun. But, like what you're saying, this is well, I don't know about you guys. I don't carry crystal singing bowls around with me everywhere. I mean it was delightful to participate in, but it's not as accessible in the moment for those times where you're like, oh man, I feel a panic attack coming on or I'm just not feeling right now. Like you say vibrate, you're the one doing it, vibrating from the inside out. So I mean, in a way, like when you make that sound, it's almost like double-sided vibration right, like from the inside, and then like you're hearing it on the outside, if you choose to do it out loud, so you're kind of you nailed it and that's the big advantage.
Speaker 4:You're not using some outside source like a bowl, or maybe you've got a flute going on or whatever, to get that toning resonance. But it's really just you and, as you mentioned, we all vibrate and we've got a. It's called a quantum signature. We all have a quantum signature which makes us unique. It's everyone's signature is a different and it has a number you can put to it, if you can figure it out mathematically.
Speaker 4:And when we hue, we're not using anything. Really, it's coming from within us and it automatically changes. If I'm hewing, it changes my vibration immediately from the inside out. So I am not only the outcome but I am the source. At that moment I'm the hue and really you know, the truth be told, since we're all a vibration, we all are the hue. In other words, that resonance is already within us and we're hitting that frequency. Maybe I'm feeling depressed that day or anxious and I'm not at a good frequency, but when I suddenly, on a scale of one to a hundred, it's changing my frequency and all the negativity disappears and it's almost spontaneous and that makes it extremely powerful.
Speaker 3:Yeah, it does lots of things too, mindy. I experimented with it the other day. I'm like, while I'm vacuuming, I'm going to think, hugh, while I was vacuuming, and within 10 seconds of vacuuming, while I was vacuuming and within 10 seconds of vacuuming, the hue reminded me Nicole, you need to cancel this appointment. Nicole, you need to schedule that appointment. It's like the hue does so many things simultaneously. Again, one magic word. Literally, it's a one-stop shop. And you know, like for therapy. Well, I'm here for, you know, depression and I'm here for gambling, addiction, and blah, blah, blah.
Speaker 3:I always tell the clients whatever the deal is you know you're arguing with your spouse whatever the deal is, add the hue. The hue is the one stop and it knows vibrationally where someone is lacking, so it automatically goes in and fills all the needs. It fills all the holes, all the gaps, if you will, with what's required to assist that person in becoming whole, the best version of themselves. And becoming whole, the best version of themselves, even if they weren't even using the hue for this other thing. It's like, all of a sudden, I'm sleeping better, all of a sudden, I'm not smoking as much, all of a sudden, all of a sudden. And so I'm just like, don't worry about it, add the hue. Don't worry about it, add the hue. And then all these things happen. It's too cool.
Speaker 4:It's too cool. It's too cool. We had a funny, funny story too. Not that long ago. We had an investigative. Reporters came in NBC or whatever, and we were talking to Hugh with them and they said we'd like to test this. Fine, so they gave us a week and they said we get to select the subjects. They selected two people that worked at NBC that were trying to do different things. One of them was trying to kick smoking, but smoking his whole life Young guy, really, and a lady who could not remember her dreams, ever unable to relate, but she wanted to be able to remember them and she was having like financial problems just like a mirage of whatever and and needed some solutions.
Speaker 4:So we worked with them and it's all on film.
Speaker 3:We worked with them once and then, yep, we did a follow-up in one week. It was like, and like I said, they threw it on us like here's the people, here's the deal, and and you know, and then they filmed this, and then they filmed after.
Speaker 4:And the investigative reporters at the front end said and these people are skeptics because they did not believe, and you know, at the end we had their testimonials on camera. And the guy who was trying to keep said well, I'm smoking a lot less. I don't know where that came from. And the lady said oh my God, I started connecting the dots, getting the answers I've been looking for, remembering my dream. It was like one big boom and it was really nice because it verified how quickly and effectively the hue works, whether you believe it or you don't believe it, and it's because of the, literally because of the quantum physics involved in the hue. It's very, very powerful toning technique.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and it sounds, you know, when you're talking about how it just knows where to go and it fills in the cracks, so to speak, and it's. That sounds kind of almost unbelievable in a way. But if you're familiar with Reiki energy, it's. I don't feel like this is the same, but Reiki energy operates in a similar way and there's a lot of science again behind Reiki energy or healing hands, if you prefer that modality. It's essentially the same thing. But you know, when you're going to a Reiki practitioner, they might move their hands on different areas of your body, but they don't have to. They could stay on one spot and that energy goes where it needs to go. It just no, I mean like the person doing it doesn't need to know. They're just kind of like the pipe, the conduit, and that's essentially when you're doing the hue. You're kind of the conduit, you're the pipe and you're just allowing that hue vibration to just do its thing.
Speaker 2:allow it to just go where it needs to go and do what it needs to do, and it just will.
Speaker 3:Yeah, you know, I even had a client once with sleep paralysis and that's, you know, that's a biggie, because you're frozen. It doesn't even matter if your spouse is at the end of the bed, you are frozen and you can't, you can't even let someone know. Hey, help. And so we're on our first session and she says sleep paralysis, blah, blah, blah, and I'm thinking of going for some testing. And I said great, you can do all that. I said in the meantime, try this.
Speaker 3:So we shared the hue and I said now, if it happens, cause it was weekly, it was like a couple of times a week, it was often the sleep paralysis. I said all I want you to do is think H-U, think Q. I said I bet it's going to pull you right out. So then we talked in one week. She said I had two episodes and all I did was the minute I thought H-U, it pulled me right out, right out, because it shifts the vibration, that quick, boom, boom, and it literally I mean we're talking presto, like yeah, so, and that's, that's impossible, like there's no pulling you out of that. You know, yeah, so, um, oh, it's just, it's just, it's just too too good too good.
Speaker 2:So what are some other things that we could expect that might happen if we were to start doing this? I'm assuming, obviously, things like physiological changes. Your blood pressure probably will lower just because of the calming effects of it. Heart rate probably will lower. But what are some other things? Or maybe you have some other case stories you'd like to share. What would happen? Well, or maybe you have some other case stories you'd like to share. What would happen?
Speaker 3:Well, it heightens your intuition Vroom. So, like, if and we all have intuition, even if people don't realize it, you know, and some of it, you know, is the volume's way down, right, so people don't hear it, but you start hewing and like, like I said, you know the one, the one stop shop, the, the heightened awareness just in general, the heightened intuition. Now the volumes weigh up for that divine guidance, the knowingness it brings, that knowingness. So you just like know, you know what's coming and you know it's your, it's all intuition, but it works in different ways, like, sometimes it's images, sometimes it's through your. But it works in different ways, like, sometimes it's images, sometimes it's through your, you know you'll, you'll hear something inwardly type of thing, or a warning bell, or you know this type of stuff. But so the heightened intuition unfolds spiritually here. Let me, let me just grab, let me grab this here. Eliminate stress, anxiety, overcome your addictions, right, unfold spiritually and tap into your higher self. That's my favorite. Your higher self. You know, the little self is like filled with ego, it wants what it wants. You know it's just a brat, right, it's the negative part of us, like it gets mad or impatient, or this, that and the other and your higher self is like the love ball version the loving, I'm calm, I'm cool, everything's great. And so the hue. When you start hewing on the regular, you start hanging out. Your higher self starts running the show instead of the little self. So that's a biggie Hue before bed. Oh my God, oh my God. This is kids. Right to sleep, right to sleep. Here's a quote from a mom, a new mom, three days old, the baby, she said she was my client. She said, oh my god, nicole, it's like you gave me gold. She said ever since we started hewing, we've gotten sound sleep, ever since, like every night, me and tyler. So this is with the babies.
Speaker 3:The animals respond to the hue. You've got, you know, even if you, I've got my one client. I call her the dog whisperer. She's the bomb. She uses the hue with the, with the training, with the animals. And, um, hold on, there was one really good one. I was gonna.
Speaker 3:Oh, I'm on the phone with the client doing a session and her kid, oh, oh, I don't know, five years old, whatever, no, like seven, whatever. Anyway, crying, crying, crying. And so we're quiet. He sits on her lap right and I'm talking to her on the phone I say, hey, why don't you go ahead and hue softly, let's see what happens, cause he's just crying. You know whatever happened two minutes ago. I don't know if he ran into the table or what happened, you know, or if he was just like not in the mood at that moment. So she starts hewing and he's crying. In 10 seconds, what happened? He stopped crying, he jumped off her lap and he went out to play. It was so amazing. In 10 seconds. He was all good to go. We didn't even speak, she didn't even speak. It was da-da-da. So with the kids, putting the kids to sleep, oh my God, there's not. Yeah, it's just, it's, yeah, yeah. I don't know if you want to add anything but yeah, especially for insomnia.
Speaker 4:I was at one point when we were in LA I was working with this one guy who used to come in and every day he'd go wow, I haven't slept, I didn't sleep, not even one minute. Last night I didn't sleep, and this went on for months. I said, joel, if you hadn't slept for several months you'd be dead. I'm tired of hearing about this. And he goes Mike, I can't sleep, I can't. So I said, ok, I'm going to give you a technique and I guarantee this is going to work. He goes OK. And so I gave him the hue. I said go ahead and try it. And he did it a few times. He said OK, that's cool enough.
Speaker 4:So the next morning he comes in and he said hey, I got, I can't sleep at all. And he said I remember what you told me the technique. So he said I tried the hue and I hewed a few times. And then he said I thought to myself this isn't working. But I looked over at my clock and it was already 7 am. It's the last thing he remembered. He was out cold for the whole night. But it works that quickly and that effectively for insomnia every single time.
Speaker 3:You know, that just reminded me One of those times we were on the coast to coast one of the listeners emailed and he said you know, we share the hue, blah, blah, blah. And we're like, hey, send us emails, whatever you got, you know it'll help you remember your dreams right. And because all the divine guidance comes in the dreams, I mean big time, like whoa, we could do a whole show on dreams for sure, um and um. We had an email when we woke up and it said I have not remembered a dream in 40, 40, 40 years. He said I remembered three dreams last night, just my first time, hewing before, just like, yeah, so so it's yeah, yeah, yeah absolutely incredible.
Speaker 2:So okay, so, people that are listening, if you're skeptic, if you're skeptic, I want you. You don't have a choice. You have to try it. You have to try it and prove us wrong. Prove us wrong, that this doesn't work. Try it for a week, but we're going to learn right now how to do it, because I think we're all convinced let's try. So I know it's very simple, but explain to us how do we do it and we'll just maybe do it together a little bit Okay.
Speaker 3:So it's hue, h-u, hue, hue, hue. So someone can inhale and on the exhale, hue Until their breath runs out. Real, gentle, nothing forced. Their own pitch is perfect, doesn't have to be any certain thing, and there's four different ways to do it, which I'll get to in just one moment. The um, so, as we mentioned, eyes open or closed, out loud or silent, depending on the situation and one's comfort level. Then the four different ways, well, two of we mentioned the out loud or the silent. Then you can do the whispering hue Kind of sounds like the wind. Or you can do you can spell it H-U. So there's like four, you know, depending on the comfort level and everyone's unique. So it's like have, enjoy it. Well, you might as well enjoy it while you're doing it. You know what I mean. So so, yeah.
Speaker 3:Well, let's oh, I was going to say every day is best. You can do it in a pinch, right, like I'm having a moment, and then that's cool. But if you really want to, like, start zooming, you know, do it daily Anywhere from one minute to 20 minutes, never more than 20, not necessary. People could even do like four, you know four or five minute sessions. You could do it in the shower, you could do it five minutes while you're driving to work During, like you know, totally user-friendly, no more than 20 minutes. And then, if you really want to max it out, you set at the same time every day and it's like an appointment with your higher self or an appointment with GOD, legit, like, and so, yeah, so anyway, yeah, okay.
Speaker 2:Let's just try it just a little bit so that I think sometimes when you hear about stuff and you're like, oh yeah, that's great, maybe I just try it just a little bit so that I think sometimes when you hear about stuff you're like, oh yeah, that's great, maybe I'll try it later. But then we don't because we forget. But I think when we do it we embody it a little bit more, we remember it better. So even if you're listening, you have no excuses because she just gave you four different ways to do it and they're not all out loud. So if you're listening to this and you know you're not comfortable or you're in a place where you can't do it out loud you got headphones on, whatever just do the silent version. But I want everybody right now we're all going to do it together just for a few, a few breaths work. I think will be fun.
Speaker 3:All right.
Speaker 2:All right.
Speaker 3:You, you want to begin, you want to lead us.
Speaker 2:Mindy, I'll let you lead. Since you're the expert, I'll jump in here, okay, all right, how about if we do three?
Speaker 3:you want to do three sound good all right, okay, you, you, you. May the blessings be you can feel that.
Speaker 4:You can feel that vibration changed. If we do it, you feel like whoa, something shifted gears. Here. It's a lighter, finer vibration and, um, when you do it in groups, even the group gets together and does does the hue it? It literally creates a vibrational vortex, energy vortex. Afterwards you go Whoa, and you can really truly feel it. There was a story. It's kind of over the top but I'll share it with you anyway.
Speaker 4:There was a story. It's kind of over the top, but I'll share it with you anyway. We were in LA and we went to a presentation and at the front end we ended up because part of the presentation included the hue. There was like 40 or 50 people there and we were going to hue for a few minutes. We ended up huing for maybe five to ten minutes before the presentation started and a guy came in at the. He was like I don't know, 23, 24. He came in at the last and he sat down and he had his arm in a sling and he was limping in and I said you okay, bro, and he goes. Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4:Yesterday I was at the dmv. I lost control of my car and hit the wall at 30 miles an hour, broke my arm, part of my leg, my kneecap. I said are you sure you want to be here? And he said I got to be here, I need to be here. I said all right. I said let me know if you need anything. True story. True story Kind of freaked me out actually. So we we hewed for five or ten minutes and when we finished it was one of those times when the group that that toning, vibrational, quantum thing kicked in and every everybody could feel it. I looked over because I had to hold on to something like, oh my god, what a, what a vibration. And this kid stood up and he took his arm out of his anywhere, oh my god. And he's kind of like walking around normal when he said I'm healed, I'm healed.
Speaker 4:It was like, you know, it was like too much really it was, but he had literally received a healing from the vibration on the spot right there and it was. You know it's something that it's one of the most. It is the most powerful sound or word in the universe and if you go back and research it, there's a lot of research and stories that claim that the universe as we know it was created by a sound. That sound literally like, if you open the bible to uh well, the beginning, it says.
Speaker 3:In the beginning it was the word.
Speaker 4:The word was with god, the word was god and I used to ask. I studied with the jesuits for four years at a private school in high school and I used to ask them what, what is father? What's that word? And they'd always go I'm not sure it was like I used to hassle all the time. So it kind of set me on a mission way back then to find out what the word was. And eventually, if you search hard enough and you really want to know the truth, I found that it was Hugh and Hugh had created everything as we know it, as a sound. So you can imagine literally how powerful and effective and useful that is in manifesting or healing anything that we desire.
Speaker 2:That's really interesting and now, as you're talking, it makes me think about you. Think of people meditating like from a long time ago. And they'll sit there and they'll chant Chanting is not new, not new at all long time ago and they'll sit there and they'll chant, chanting's not new um, not new at all, like you say.
Speaker 2:I mean, this word maybe is new to us now, but just this concept of people chanting in a meditative state, like we've seen that or heard that, even if we don't know about it. But I think the word that is most commonly associated with that is om. Yes, I'm curious, and now I'm I'm just assuming in my just ignorance here, that probably different tones or different words probably have different connotations or different thing purposes for them. But what, what can you tell me? I mean? But hue to hue seems to be more. Maybe the most potent Is that.
Speaker 4:Yes, let me give you a quick story before Nicole gets in, and she's getting ready on the I'm ready to roll.
Speaker 3:Go ahead before.
Speaker 4:Nicole kicks in and she's getting ready on the, I'm ready to roll. Go ahead In my search. Uh, in in this life I I did yoga for many years Kundalini yoga and most people go. Oh, that's a dangerous one. No, if you're going to bother, bother, all right. Um, so I did Kundalini yoga, used to go down and study with the Sikhs for years at the ashram, every day, for hours. We would do, we would do Kundalini yoga, we would meditate, and a lot of it was oh and and what it did was. The OM is is a sound or word that literally takes you to, to a different vibrational level, and it's very different than the hue. You want to. You want to kick it in.
Speaker 3:Oh, sure, sure, sure, sure. What I was going to say is we've even, we've even researched, experimented with the hue versus the ohm. Here's the deal the hue is quicker, it quick, it's quicker and it gets you higher, further, faster. You've got your planes. You've got the physical plane, then the astral plane, then the causal and the mental, then the soul plane, below soul plane these are all planes of duality. Then the soul plane and then above that, it's all just pure good stuff, right, Pure positive. So planes of duality.
Speaker 3:The OM only takes you to the mental plane. That's the deal. So it's fabulous, right, it's fabulous. People love the OM, they do it daily. But it only goes to the mental plane. So the hue goes all the way up to the 10th plane. Hence, god man, god ancient name, forgot blah, blah, blah. So you can go to the mental plane with OM, or you can go all the way to the 10th plane with the hue. So further, faster, quicker, and everything is subsumed underneath. Yes, that's why it's that one-stop shop. Whatever the issue is causal, mental, physical, da-da-da-da-da, da-da.
Speaker 4:The hue is, yeah, it's holistic and it's where everything is one. Within the hue and the ohm, you've still got the duality light, dark, up down, black, white. In other words, positive and negative. No matter what you got, the negative is going to be part of it. Now it can truly help you and take you to places you haven't been before, because you're really experiencing other as Nicole calls them planes and science calls them dimensions. They're the same. It's a different dimension, whether you know, like everybody knows, the astral dimension. We can go there. We've gone there from time to time in a dream or experienced it. But the hue takes you above that to the much higher, higher frequencies and planes where everything is one. It's all light and sound. There is no negativity. Big difference, yeah.
Speaker 2:Yeah, oh, that's really interesting. Yeah, so ohm is fine, but hue, maybe you might want to look into as an alternative.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I got something really cool. I want to share with you More about this, but it's something we didn't, we didn't talk about for relationships, okay, there is one tool and it's this tool to harmonize relationships. Okay, instantly. It's like if j-lo and ben would have done this, okay, they could have repaired, they could have come into harmony. Because when things aren't, when relationships aren't cool, that's because different states of consciousness and we're not harmonizing. So the one thing that will bring relationships, people, into harmony is using the hue, not so much together like hue, hue. It doesn't matter if we're together, hewing or separate, but as a unit, hewing daily brings the harmony to all relationships. So we always say if you want to repair your relationship, come into harmony or at least have a chance. Start hewing daily. And we have what we did. We didn't even know what we were doing.
Speaker 3:We used to get our aura photos. Are you familiar with? Okay, I figured you were. We used to get our aura photo done every year boom, boom, boom. I'm talking from when we hooked up, right. So I happen to have before hewing and after hewing together, because we used to do them together aura photos together as a couple. This is so, this is mind blowing this. Okay, here we are. Before, hew after hew. Are you? Look at that, mindy, we're talking, you know. You know this is before. So we were already cool, we were harmonizing, we were dating, but look at how disharmonious we really were and look at what it did and brought us into total unity and harmony yeah, just what?
Speaker 2:it's more cohesive, it's more one, one unit versus different pieces together yeah, all the way up, because you're higher.
Speaker 3:These are really earthy colors, they're hidebound colors. Your greens and your yellows and your reds and your oranges, they're more earthy, hidebound, not as elevated or heightened. And you're spiritual if your blues and your purples and your yellows and your whites. So I mean it just not only did it harmonize us, it took us right up, right up. You could even see our guides here in the top. Um, yeah, it's so. This is what it does for a relationship. Yes, so it's like yeah, yeah, yeah, it really is.
Speaker 2:I mean, you have a website. You know the one magic word you call it. I know that's it.
Speaker 3:It really is the one magic word it is. It sounds silly, it sounds too simple for people, but it just is, and you know that's how we're built. Things weren't supposed to be difficult. You know, you dream every night. That's for guidance. You witness signs while you're awake and your intuition, while you're awake, dreams while you sleep. You add the hue. You've got your perfect, your perfect package of everything you need and that's the system we put together called the ancient way of knowing. You know, for decision making and divine guidance. But all these things are on autopilot 24 seven. They're free, they're within us. You can't even shut them off. They just. This is how we were built, how we were constructed, you know. So it just makes sense. If you think it through, you know what I mean.
Speaker 4:Yeah, you know it's an internal, it's our internal GPS system. We all have it and that's why we, you know, put together the mystery school and we're teaching divine guidance. But it's really dreams, signs and intuition. And you know, we all sleep, we all dream every single night, whether we remember them or not. We've all had gut feelings, that intuitive thing and you know signs. I mean.
Speaker 4:I met Nicole when I was teaching in Texas at a college. I had a dream, very clear dream. Luckily, I journaled the dream. But in the dream the girl was named Nicole and she looked like that and she had brown eyes and she even wore a purple dress in the dream. Luckily, I journaled the whole thing. And she even wore a purple dress in the dream. Luckily, I journaled the whole thing. And three years fast forward, who walks into my classroom and sits in the front row? Nicole, yeah, so it was giving me a snapshot. That's when I realized how important dreams were like oh my God, here's the future, we're showing you what's going to happen and how it unfolded. And then, even when I walked her back to her car, her license plate and I'd never seen those initials before it was KRW and they're the initials of my ex-wife and I went it. Let me know that it was going to be an important relationship, a serious relationship, and we would end up getting married, which we did.
Speaker 2:Oh, wow, yeah, that's a great story. But yeah, I think that you're right. There's so many signs out there, but we're just not tuned into it. And this is how you literally get tuned in michael likes to call it the activator.
Speaker 3:The hue is the activator. It turns on the system like you turn on the ignition. I don't know if you saw the movie dune. Did you see dune? I don't think so. Okay, well, they're. In the movie dune they have this thing called the spice, and the spice is what everyone uses to see the future and and this, that everyone's fighting over the spice. The spice is the big deal, but we equate the hue to the spice. I mean, it's just that that valuable, that powerful, so, um, so, yeah, yeah well, I'll add one more case study for you.
Speaker 2:So I had never done the hue before until today, prior to this podcast, and I had come down to my desk a little bit early before. You know, we started recording today because I wanted to prepare, look over my notes, look over the questions, and I was looking over your website and I was watching. You have a really great video on your the website. You have a few different, but the one I was looking at was website and I was watching. You have a really great video on your the website. You have a few different, but the one I was looking at was the. It's the number one magic word and I'll put that in the show notes so everyone can find that easily. But you have a really great video that kind of walks people through how to do it simply, so that, okay, I'll just try it.
Speaker 2:But prior to this I was really grumpy. I was in a. I was like man, I don't, I'm not even sure I want to go do this. I love doing it didn't even like wasn't in the mood and like I had gotten upset with two of my kids not super upset, but like just kind of like, oh, frustrated with them and kind of got a little stern with them, because they were all being kids and you know, I did my hair and my hair and my hair didn't work.
Speaker 2:Oh, everything was just, you know whatever just not, I'm like man, I'm just grumpy but I came down to my office and I've got some. Oh, it's like a heart spray, it's got rose water and whatever and it's a beautiful smell. So I'm like I'll squirt myself with that. Maybe that'll like uplift me, because it smells really, really good.
Speaker 2:I'm not in a horrible mood, I'm just, you know, kind of grumpy, but I feel myself going spiraling down. So, okay, let's look at these questions, let's learn about these people a little bit more deeply. Refresh my memory. Okay. Well, I've got 10 minutes. I suppose I could cue for five, so I did. I felt great. I felt like totally forgot that they're even that I'd been in a bad mood. I was like, oh, this is like I just felt.
Speaker 2:I felt grounded, I felt just normal, just it kind of put me back to baseline like I said, I wasn't feeling horrible.
Speaker 2:I just was not where I'm at my normal and this brought me back to normal, probably in. I'm sure it was less than five minutes. I just was not where I'm at my normal and this brought me back to normal, probably in. I'm sure it was less than five minutes. I just chose to do it for five minutes Because I mean, let's keep going, let's see. Let's see what else will happen if I keep going. But yeah, so I mean that's the first time I'd ever tried it and it was instant.
Speaker 2:I mean, I think had I instead sat down and tried to meditate for those 10 minutes, I probably would have had some benefit, but I don't think it would have been the same because I was so mentally gunked up. Do you know what I mean? The hue kind of gives you something to latch onto. That kind of takes your focus off of whatever you're focusing on that you don't need to be focusing on for a minute. Um, and, like I said, it just kind of brought me back to normal. So, yeah, I thought it was great thanks for sharing that story live, and I mean real and living color right here.
Speaker 2:Absolutely, so I must. I'm sure I was meant to have that experience. I was meant to be in a grumpy mood so I can experience the hue, the podcast, like one.
Speaker 3:No, the next day right after his surgery, and so we we explained the hue on the pre-call. We didn't tell him to do the hue for the healing or for the surgery, or for anxiety or nervousness, but so on the call he's like you know what I did the hue before the surgery. He goes. It was, it was the best, and I was mellow and I wasn't anxious and the surgery was flawless and it's even helping me healing now with the pain and so, yeah, it was, it was cool. It was cool.
Speaker 2:So I bet you just have probably thousands of stories, just like I mean, it's so, it's so, um again, simple and anyone can do it. So I would encourage everybody again listening that you should try it and then email me or Dr Nicole and Mike can see if we can get some more stories, because I love hearing these stories. I'm sure you guys do too. Yeah, absolutely. Well, I have one final question for you, and this is a question that I ask all of my podcast guests, and I'm kind of curious. I think I can guess what your answer is going to be, but I'm not sure. So my question for you is what's one thing that you wish everyone on the planet would do in regards to their own well-being?
Speaker 4:That's easy, you yeah.
Speaker 3:Yeah, you, daily, just yeah, pew, daily, just yeah for the harmony, for the harmony, for the bet. Yeah, it's just mind-blowing. So and then what? What it would do, like you mentioned, for the, for the people, for the vibe for this place is like insane, you know. So, yeah, but you fantastic.
Speaker 2:Well, I hope everybody does, and we'll fix all the problems. Just that's. That's the goal you know, so yeah, but you fantastic. Well, I hope everybody does, and we'll fix all the problems. Just that's, that's the goal.
Speaker 3:You know that. You know, like mcdonald's. When mcdonald's started it was like they and michael tells a story they did. That's how they got to the parents is through the kids. They advertised to the kids. And now, you know we just looked at the sign the other day as we drove by it said 95 billion serve. It used to say 1 million. You know, we just looked at the sign the other day as we drove by it said 95 billion serve. It used to say 1 million. You know, now it's 95 billion. So I always say the hue is going to be like McDonald's. That's the deal. The hue is going to be like McDonald's. Oh, I love it, I love it.
Speaker 2:Let's make it happen.
Speaker 3:Thanks for having us.
Speaker 2:Yeah, thank you so much for being on the show today. Um, I learned a lot. I'm very excited about this, I'm excited to go do it more and just kind of I don't know.
Speaker 2:Maybe I'll track my progress and see what happens and let us know yeah definitely well, if people are listening and they're thinking, oh, I'm interested in this, I want more information. I know I've shared one website, but how can people get in touch with you if they want to maybe work with you more or just look into more of your stuff? Where can they find you?
Speaker 3:DivineGuidanceInstituteorg, they can take a spiritual IQ quiz. Oh, it's badass. Yes, and that's at. That's at divine guidance instituteorg. Or they can also go to spiritual IQ quizcom or one magic wordcom.
Speaker 4:Magic word.
Speaker 3:Yeah, yep, yep Cool.
Speaker 2:And again, I will put those links in the show notes so people can just find you with the click of a button. Everybody that's listening. I'm going to stop talking so you can go cue and then improve the rest of your day just from that. Wherever you are at right now, I hope you are having a fantastic day and I will catch you on the next one that's it for today, friends.
