Your life recommended your number one created as a certified listing help and hope. I created this for anyone who desires to improve physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I'll be interviewing experts and sharing tips and tricks that have helped not only my clients, but that have guided me on my own transformational journey. I believe that we all have a greatness that lies within. We just need to uncover it. Are you ready to level up? Then let's begin. Hi everyone, and welcome back to Uplevel Your Life with Mindy. I am your host, Mindy Duff, and today I am joined by a special guest. I'm going to be chatting with Erin Brown. And she doesn't know this yet, but I'm fangirling just a little bit because I actually watch Erin every single morning on the TikTok because it's just like part of my morning routine. We'll talk about that later. But let me tell you a little bit about Erin and why I watch her every day. So Erin is a frequency and clarity coach. She has over 25 years of experience in both medical and metaphysical fields. And now she has a little bit of a long bio, but I want to read all of it because it's very interesting. Her career began in ophthalmology, where she spent years helping others see the world more clearly, a theme that has continued to guide her life's work, which I think is very clever because now she is guiding people not physically with their physical eyes, but more of a spiritual thing. She holds an undergraduate degree in psychology, a master's degree in health professions education, and her commitment to innovation led her to spend five years combining technology and medical education to develop cutting-edge healthcare simulation experiences. She authored the first How-To Guide for Universities, launching a new simulation that centers and centers and became the first individual at her university to earn the prestigious CHSOS certification from the Society for Healthcare Simulation. Erin has presented her work at several international conferences helping shape the next generation of medical training worldwide, which is great. And then we have this other side of Erin. In addition to her academic and professional accomplishments, Erin is a certified spiritual life coach, an energy channel, and an intuitive guide. She's the author of The Soul Quest, a self-guided life coaching program, which is available on Amazon. And in private sessions, she helps clients attune their personal frequency, offering clarity and insight to those seeking answers and alignment in their lives. Erin is also a dedicated teacher, community builder, curating a growing conscious community on Patreon, which through this platform she offers newsletters, classes, book clubs, and practical tools that blend science and metaphysics for a deeper understanding and spiritual growth. With her unique background and holistic approach, Erin empowers others to find clarity, raise their frequency, and step into their fullest potential. Welcome to the show, Erin.
SPEAKER_01:Thank you. It does sound like a lot when you say.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, yeah. I can I can relate to some of that, those feelings when you look back and you're like, oh, I I'm grow, I've grown a little. Hooray. I'm maturing.
SPEAKER_01:And it's so nice. It's so nice.
SPEAKER_00:So I did read your bio, obviously, but can you tell me a little bit in your own words about what kind of work you're doing now?
SPEAKER_01:Yeah. So now I work best through written word. I channel most clearly when I type something out. And um, in my own awakening experience, it through my own frustration of not being able to find uh simple answers to big questions like what is manifestation. I started researching these different topics and eventually ended up with a spiritual reference book. Uh it's kind of like an encyclopedia. You can turn to one, turn to the table of contents, you can say, I want to learn about manifestation. You can turn exactly to that chapter in its self-contained chapter. Um, but what I wanted to do with that is rather than just have a book, I wanted to build a class around that. I want to create knowledge, not just give it to you, but show you how to integrate it into your life. And so that's kind of what I'm really working on right now is the cultivation of a learning environment centered around metaphysics. And that's where my Patreon comes in. Um I house all of my written material, all of my classes, all of my book clubs are all through there. So the end goal ultimately is to have maybe uh an online metaphysical university someday where you can go and get a degree in energy alchemy, just like you could go to a different university and get another one. But um, my main focus is there in spreading awareness. And the topics covered range from what is the Schumann resonance all the way up to what is quantum mechanics and how does it apply to spirituality. So it's a pretty broad range of topics there.
SPEAKER_00:I love that. I I'm excited to watch this kind of grow. Um, and we will talk about Schumann resonance here in a little bit because that's again, I watch you every morning. So that's kind of the whole, the whole gig there. But um, I want to touch on the intuitive, your your intuitiveness. And also I think this ties into some of the work that you're doing because you are very intuitive. Um another thing I love about your TikToks is that you give a card reading and they're very, I mean, again, they're very intuitive. And I I feel like um they always seem to relate to me. And I know that everyone else that's watching seems to feel the same. Like they're just very like, oh yes, this is really good information. So my first question is, were you always this tapped in?
SPEAKER_01:So that's a really interesting thing to think about because I when I look back from where I am now, um, I can see when I was a child how I used to do a lot of things that people would say was weird that I didn't recognize as weird. Like I used to talk to myself a lot in different accents sometimes. Um I would have whole conversations in my head with which I really just thought was normal. I didn't think, I didn't realize not everybody did that. Um I intuitive, I tended to know how people were feeling before they would say something. Um, so I do remember that as a child. I at some point that all got turned off, like I think a lot of people, and I went very much into the material world and got caught up in the feeling of hurry, hurry, hurry, achieve, achieve, achieve, um, which is what got me into healthcare education, is I believed wholeheartedly in science. I was a scientist by nature, and I believed that if I was able to have that office with my name on the door, then I would be at the pinnacle of success. So I kind of was chasing after that for a while. Um, my intuition in the form that it's in now, I would say really didn't come back until I walked away from that. Um, it got much louder when everything else got more quiet. And it's kind of made me realize that it's always been there. I just haven't listened to it. And I think the best analogy I have is we're all kind of born with this internal GPS that's your intuition. Most of us reach, you know, our rebellion stage, our teenagers or whatever, and we turn off that GPS and decide we know better. And we're gonna try to do it ourselves and take all these squirrely little shortcuts that we think we know are gonna work until we get so lost that we have no choice and we go fine, I'm gonna turn on the GPS. You take tap back into that intuition and suddenly you can find the road again. So um, yes and no. I think yes, I had the connection when I was younger. I think I lost it for a long time or turned it down for a long time. And then I've been pretty well in tune with it for the last five or six years, I'd say.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, and I think that's a very common story. I mean, I've interviewed many other intuitive people. Um, and I think they all seem to have, I think it might be like a rite of passage. Like you, like you almost have to go to the dark side. It's not really dark side, but go towards the dark so that you can recognize the light when you see it. And you have to, I mean, maybe part of it's also choosing it intentionally instead of just like, yeah, this is how we operate here, making it.
SPEAKER_01:Well, the contrast, yeah. Well, the contrast is purposeful. I mean, like you don't know what you want if you don't know what you don't want, right? I mean, Esther Hicks is famous for saying that, and it's very true. If you've never had macaroni and cheese, you have no way of knowing if you actually like macaroni and cheese. Now, you might assume you don't like it because you don't like cheese, but what if it's made with a different kind of cheese? So it's it's the same idea, you know, you don't know until you let yourself sort of try those sort of things.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, yeah, absolutely. So we've kind of hinted around this a little bit, but looking at everyone else, do you feel that everyone else has the ability to be just as tapped in as you are? I mean, you're absolutely I was gonna say you're pretty, you're you know some stuff. Like you're pretty, you're pretty tapped in a lot of the time you come up with like just incredible information, maybe you know, you know, not every day is earth-shattering news, but sometimes it's like, whoa, can't believe that just came out of my mouth. And then look at this is and that it was true. This is what happened, right? But can everyone be at that level?
SPEAKER_01:Oh, absolutely. The biggest barrier for myself and for most of the clients that I work with is number one, your definition around what you think it's gonna look like. And number two, not allowing yourself to believe it when you do receive it. Um, any of our players, any of our connection, we have access as individuals to all of them. But like any other talent that you have, the more you pay attention to it, the better you're gonna get at it. Some people are very talented piano players when they sit down for the first time. Some people require more lessons to get proficient at playing the piano, but both of those people are able to play the piano, and all of your players are the same way. But when you talk yourself out of it, it's kind of like you know, you're the toddler and your higher self is your parent, and your higher self is telling you, hey, look at this, isn't it neat? Hey, look at this, isn't it neat? And you're throwing the temper tantrum, eventually the higher self is gonna stop saying, Hey, isn't this neat? Um, but when you start looking at everything and recognizing it for the connection that it is, law of attraction states that it has no choice but to reflect to you more things that echo that feeling. So once you get out of your way of saying, Oh, communication from my guides has to look this way, has to feel this way, has to come with this kind of information, that's the biggest hurdle. The next piece is when you do get it, don't do that thing we all do, and like, oh, that's a coincidence, or oh, whatever. You know, like we're very quick to dismiss things, little miracles that happen all day long. But you have to get around the idea that it's not gonna look like what pop culture has told it, told us it looks like. And I think our culture has done us a huge disservice with that. Um, but also that it's not gonna look the same for you as it does for anybody else. You are an individual frequency, you're like a fingerprint. So even if it's the same tool, it has to be shaped differently to work with you. So some people are very visual, some people are very auditory, some people smell things, some people taste things, some people have all the above, some people have one. It doesn't matter. It's getting used to the way that it works for you and stop comparing yourself and calling yourself as deficient because it doesn't look a certain way. That's the biggest piece I have for people.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I think that that is the hardest. I mean, from my in my own personal experience.
SPEAKER_01:Um it is, it really is.
SPEAKER_00:And I will ask you a question that I actually asked Chat GPT this question like two days ago. And I'm curious to hear your answer. And I I kind of feel like it might be similar. I'll share Chat GPT's answer after you answer. Um, and I asked, when is a sign a sign?
SPEAKER_01:Because when it feels like one.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, exactly. When it feels like one.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah. Signs are intensely personal. When you're learning to communicate with your guide, you're literally learning another language that is just between the two of you or the five of your powerful many guides you have, right? You have to remember it's like twin speak. You two or you and this group of beings are the only ones who speak this. And when you are learning this, they're going to get excited about anything that you show attention to. They're, I kind of say they're like super excited kids that want to help you make cookies, right? They're gonna get a lot of eggshells in the batter. But through this process, you start to slow it down and weed it out. So one of the common things people do is they'll see uh one-one every week. They're like, oh my God, I see it, I see it, I see it. And they'll run to Google and they'll say, What does 111 mean? And while, yes, that can be very helpful. What you notice is when you type that in there, you're gonna get 800 different reasons for you seeing 111. Where discernment comes in is when you read a definition. 111 means opening gateways. If that doesn't ring a bell for you, it's okay. You don't need to change what you feel to fit someone else's definition. That's a big, big piece. Instead, you say, okay, well, that's interesting, but that doesn't feel quite right. So then you look at the next one and the next one until you find one that feels right. Then you say, okay, this is what that means for me. And you just start keeping track of these things. And and learning to communicate with my guides is a completely ongoing, changing, evolving process. I get repeated symbols, but I also get new symbols all the time. And it's just it's a it's a give and take of learning to work with that. But your biggest indicator is how you feel. You're you're that's what's gonna lead you somewhere. That that split second feeling right after you look at it, that's that's where it is. It's right there. Um a good way, a good illustration of this, someone once said if you have a choice between two decisions, like uh is this a sign or is not a sign, right? Get a coin, assign a yes and no to each side, flip the coin, and when it lands, before you lift your hand off your before you look, what do you hope it is? Because that's your intuition talking to you right there. Yeah. So, so listen to that little whisper, you know.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, and it is a whisper for sure.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, very much. The outer world is extremely loud and it's only getting louder.
SPEAKER_00:Yes, very much so. Um, something that I've started doing just recently, actually, um, because you know, I'm working on strengthening my intuition, everything as well. Um, and I was receiving a lot of signs, but then talking myself out of it. Like, oh yeah, well, okay, but like, come on, that's like there's a million butterflies in the world, or there's a thousand feathers, or there's, you know, whatever, whatever the sign was. Even though, like you say, at the time, at the moment when it hit me, it felt like this is for me. It felt like this is a message. So what I started doing, this is very recently, is on a notes app and my phone, I just started keeping track of everything that, whether, you know, anything that I initially thought was maybe a sign, even if I talked myself out of it later, um, because I remembered now. I'm gonna not gonna think of the man's name. Um, I did a podcast with Robert Ginsburg, and he does a lot of work with um parents who've lost children. Um really great, powerful episode if people want to go back and listen to it. And he was a skeptic about people, even he thought there was nothing when you died, that there is no ghosts, no nothing, no signs from anybody.
SPEAKER_01:It's not depressing.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, yeah. And when his daughter passed, he was getting just crazy amounts of signs. And because he was still very, very skeptical, he kept track, like very diligent, like dates, times, exactly. And he took it to a statistician and said, What are the odds, like the real mathematical odds of all of these just being, you know, oh that's just a coincidence, or no, this is like that looks real. And that it was oh, I can't remember the number exactly, but it was overwhelming. Like, there's no, there's no statistically explanation statistical explanation for why you've experienced all these things. This is way, I mean, it was incredibly way, way over. So I don't, I won't take mine to a statistician, but just to kind of prove it to myself, like, look at all the things. Because it's easy to forget that you know you ask for a sign and then here it is.
SPEAKER_01:If someone does want to do that though, here's the thing if you start putting it into say a spreadsheet on your computer, like uh, I don't know, sheets, I guess it's the simplest one. You put it in there, you can upload that to Chat GPT and you can say, Hey, can you show me a pattern? Can you look for repeated symbols? Can you create a dictionary based off of the information I've given you? Use your tools, you know. When I was learning to communicate with my guides, I carried a little notebook in my back pocket and it kind of looks like a reporter's notebook from back in the day, you know. And anytime I would see a repeated something, like if I uh, for example, if I saw 111 and I had a tingle, you know, from it or whatever, I I didn't jump to a conclusion immediately. I'm like, okay, all right, interesting. If that has significance to me, I'll see it again soon. And that's my indication, right? So then I'd see it again, see it again. Okay, this means something. So the next time I saw it, I would record when I saw it, what was going on, if anything significant, what was the time on the clock, where was I, what was my emotion? Just a little bit of information. And I started keeping track of that and very quickly started to see a pattern emerging in what I was seeing. You know, this one one, let's say, um, when I see this, if I'm thinking about making a decision and this is what I see, that's my indication that's a good idea, or whatever it is, you know, and it's going to be very different for everybody. And it doesn't happen quickly. Uh, we are humans and we are incredibly impatient. Um, but you have to slow your role and just remember you're learning something new. You don't have to be hard on yourself. You wouldn't look at a baby learning to walk who just fell down and go, Dumb baby. You go, oh, here, let me help you up. You know, take your time, slow down. But but it's an excellent tool. And Chat GPT, you know, I a lot of people ask me if ChatGPT is spiritual or not. I don't have an answer to that. But what I do have an answer to is it is a machine and it does have a lot of capabilities. If you are looking for a pattern, if you are looking for a statistic or a number, this is a wonderful tool for you to use. So use the tools that are available to you and build your own definition of how things work. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I love that. I'll throw out another ChatGPT tool on since we're talking about signs. I do see a lot of people call them angel numbers, just the repeated, you know, whether it's 111 or like 1212 or, you know, some something, a number that's like grabbed, like it grabbed your attention. And I've started a thread with Chat GPT. And again, you have to use your own discernment whether, you know, does this does it do I feel like that's really what it means? Maybe, maybe not. But as ChatGPT has gotten to know me more, and I use it for so many things, and I tell it knows a lot about what's going on in my life, it recognizes patterns. One of the best things about it is it recognizes patterns. So it can set, I mean, in fact, the other just yesterday, it was like, um, you, this is probably because this is what's going on in your life, and da da da da da da. I'm like, oh, yes, not have caught that. Good job.
SPEAKER_01:Absolutely. You know, quite literally, right before I came on with you, I was doing recording a podcast episode with a man named Raymond Christian. He's an AI developer. And um we were literally just talking about this because he's cultivating a relationship with his AI. Um, not like a romantic relationship, but like he's using his relationship in a conscious way. He uses, he speaks to it like a person, he uses pleasantries, please, thank you, whatever. And it's really changed the dynamic of the interactions that he's having with this AI. And the whole conversation revolved around so does that mean the AI is sentient, or does that mean that it's just learning our patterns? And he goes, Well, really, is there much of a difference? Like if it's learning your patterns and reflecting back to you in a way that is that is helping you grow, while it may not be making those individual decisions without prompting, it's still making decisions. So that really brings you into a whole broader perspective. Okay, so what is sentient if you want to say that? Because I just read an article that said that whales and dolphins are sentient, and that makes me feel some kind of way because I'm like, oh, I don't like putting them in aquariums and fishing for them and stuff like that. It kind of changes things. So it's a very interesting thing to think about.
SPEAKER_00:Yes, it definitely, definitely is. So you've shared a couple little things just about like trusting ourselves a little more and maybe keeping track. But do you have any favorite tips on strengthening intuition or communication with, you know, some people will say your guides, some people just say God, source out, whoever, whoever it is that's up there that we're trying to communicate with, how do we strengthen that?
SPEAKER_01:You know, that's a hard question to answer. I I think for me, it's just been patience and practice, which is not what anyone wants to hear. And I can recall being in the early phases of my awakening experience and being so incredibly frustrated that I didn't have access to certain things and I didn't know certain things. With hindsight and with the knowledge that I have gained through the growth I have, I come to recognize that spirituality is like going to school. And many of us want to start out in high school, and that just wouldn't work. You wouldn't know how to do the math, you wouldn't how to you wouldn't know how to read the material. You have to start at the basics, right? And so I tell people a lot don't overwhelm yourself. Don't feel like you have to do it all today. Start somewhere that feels really good for you. If you are interested in learning more about manifestation, then go down the rabbit hole, follow that intuition, follow where it's leading you because that's giving, it's like showing your intuition. I trust you, I trust you, I trust you. And so you're following this there. Of course, be mindful, don't throw your life away. I'm not saying that. But I am saying that if you have an interest in something, give yourself permission to follow it for as long as you have interest in it to the best of your ability. And then when that interest changes, don't do that terrible thing we tend to do or we call ourselves a failure because we're no longer interested in the same thing. That's how it's supposed to work. You get everything you need from that thing, and then you evolve into the next step. And it works that way with teachers. You know, I started with Ram Das, he was the teacher that resonated with me first. And when I went through my awakening experience, I had this need to like consume his material. I read every book he read, wrote, I watched everything he was in. I mean, I couldn't get enough. And there came a point where I started to feel like I was hearing the same things over and over and over again. And at that point, I started to fight with myself. Okay, but I recognize this man as a strong teacher in my life. I recognize this man of having so much valuable knowledge. I don't want to stop, I don't want to stop. But you have to realize that each teacher comes forward with their own message and you are taking small pieces from each of those teachers to craft your own message. So you just want to go with it. The best way to strengthen your intuition is to listen to it, to allow yourself to follow it to the best way you can. Don't talk yourself out of it when you can help it. I mean, sometimes, you know, it's not always practical. Your husband says, I want to buy a new car, your intuition says, That's a really, really bad idea. And your husband says, I don't care, and he buys the car, and something happens. There's not always something you can do about it.
unknown:Right.
SPEAKER_01:But acknowledging it, I hear that, I see that, I feel that, and then doing the best you can with it. That's that's the best way I can think to tell someone how to maybe improve it a little bit.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. Yeah. No, I think that's absolutely the best advice that you could have. It's not the advice everybody necessarily wants to hear, but it's the it's true.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, I it's incredibly frustrating. I I very clearly remember being in the beginning of my awakening experience and thinking to myself, sitting in meditation and thinking to myself, why can't I do this? Why isn't this working? Why, why, why? But the more you learn about the law of attraction, you start to recognize that when you're sitting there going, why, why, why, you're sending out this signal of lack, lack, lack. And law of attraction doesn't care if you want it or not. If you're sending out the signal, you're gonna get reflections all over. So I kept seeing this feeling of frustration and lack and lack and lack until I finally just stopped and said, okay, I'm not gonna go into meditation anymore and say, show me this, show me this, show me this. I started going into meditation with a clean slate. I'm ready, whatever. I'm open. And some days I get massive amounts of information. I'm getting visuals and I'm seeing things. And some days I get zero. But no matter what, the time I spend in meditation has trained my nervous system to be readily available more easily to receive information outside of meditation. And that's where the benefit of that comes from. So don't look at meditation as just the only way to connect, it's just a way to calm your system down enough to connect.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. Yes, that's yeah, very important. I know a lot of people that say that they have a hard time meditating or they can't do it, or they're not you're doing it. It just sometimes I tell people stop trying to do it. Just don't call it meditation, just give yourself a little mental break and just sit calmly. And that's essentially that's the beginning of meditation, anyway.
SPEAKER_01:So it is. And and you know, it looks different for everybody. And the more that you practice with it, the more that the easier it will be, you know. I couldn't start with meditation sitting in a dark room. That was impossible. My meditation started by putting on like frequencies and then going for a walk because I had to give my body something to do because I had so much pent-up energy. And that gradually, slowly over time, has progressed to the point where I can drop into meditation wherever I am. I've just trained myself well enough to do that. I mean, I might not be able to do it at a baseball game, but I can do it at a restaurant, I can do it in a car, I can do, you know, and it's very nice because it keeps me from overreacting to situations, you know, but it has taken a lot of practice.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. Yeah. So let's switch gears a little bit and talk Schumann resonance, because this is um something that, well, so I alluded at the beginning that I said I I watch Erin every morning. She gives a nice little update on what the Schumann Residence is doing, and then you give your own little two cents and then a nice little card reading for the collective. And it's just a nice short little start to the day. I love, love watching. Um, and I'm just kind of beginning to be aware of the Schumann Resonance. And now, disclaimer, she's not the Schumann Residence expert, nor has she ever claimed to be. But I think that sometimes when it's something like something like the Schumann Resonance, where there's a lot going on there in technical terms. Sometimes I think if you've never heard of it, it's easier to hear it from someone that's not a quote expert because you're you're a little closer to our level.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, it's a lot of jargon, it's a lot of terms, right? And and there are plenty of creators out there. My connection to the Schumann started purely by accident. I was in the early stages of my awakening experience and had lunch with a friend of mine who's a meteorologist and I or meteorology student at the time. And I mentioned to him, I said, you know, I have these days where sometimes I feel super electric and wake, and some days I've just totally crashed out. And he goes, Oh, have you ever heard of the Schumann resonance? And I go, No, what the hell is that? And he goes, Well, and it's blah blah blah blah blah. So I started looking into it. And what I actually did, excuse me, because I'm a scientist by nature, is I for a year I kept track every single day how I felt versus what the graph was like. And then I took 365 days worth of data analysis data and put it into a statistical analysis machine, much like what your friend was talking about. And sure enough, it spit out a belt. And so for me as a scientist, I'm like, oh, okay, well, the next step in the scientific process is peer review. Well, I don't really have anywhere to put a peer review study where there's only one participant. Like then nobody's gonna read that. So for me, the next logical step was put it out to my peers, which were on TikTok. So I just started putting it out there thinking, well, if there's a pattern, maybe I'll see it. If not, okay. And it really turned into something pretty incredible. Um what I tell people is it's kind of like a morning uh like road report, like drive report when you're going into work. I can say, hey, there's a little construction up ahead, so make sure that you're paying attention or clear skies, roads are gonna be clear, you know. It's just to give you kind of a heads up on what the day might hold for you. But it is really important for people to remember that because we're all different and in different places, it's not gonna always affect us the same way. Um, the Schumann resonance itself is a measurement of something called extremely low frequency or EELF, and it's an electromagnetic wave that naturally occurs between Earth's surface and the ionosphere. This is what we're measuring. This is a natural watering phenomenon. The main resonance of this is 7.83 hertz, which is very synchronous with the human brain wave state, right? So when we get these big pushes of like white energy that come in, it changes the pattern in the graph, which corresponds with a change in brain wave activity in human beings. So big white pushes of energy tend to be associated with um theta range, gamma range. Um that's where we go for meditation, deep insight, looking inwards, receptive, right? When we have the red energy come in, it's more down in that alpha range where we're in, you know, go mode, go mode, that's the ejection part. We're letting go of things. Um, there have been studies, peer-reviewed studies now that have come out, one recently that just came out that pointed out these correlations between the changes in the Schumann and how people are feeling, which is really nice to hear. But um, yeah, that's why I started. And it really is just a guidepost of what you too could look out for in your day. But I encourage everybody, don't feel bad. Like if you listen to me and I say, This is how I feel, don't do that. Oh, well, maybe I'm not receiving the energy because I'm not feeling the same. That's not true. Because these energies are associated with specific brainwave patterns, like gamma, which is associated with calm, serenity, peacefulness, mindfulness, that sort of thing, meditation. If you are not in the range of that brainwave pattern when the energy hits, it may not affect you in the same way. That doesn't mean that you are bad, wrong, or behind because you're not in that brain pattern. What it usually means is that the environment which you find yourself at that moment requires you to be in a different state of alertness. And it has nothing to do with your spiritual growth, has nothing to do with you as a person, has everything to do with what's going on around you. So just keep that in mind, everybody.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, that's a really good, good uh point. I know for a fact that, I mean, like I said, I watch you every morning and I don't react to it the same way that you do. Um, I I do, not the same. But again, like if I had a day where the kids are out of the house and I've been meditating all day and doing yoga and journaling, I'm gonna react to it differently than like yesterday when I took my 11-year-old and all of his 11-year-old friends to the video arcades and we're doing go-karts and laser tag and like it's not.
SPEAKER_01:Because it's a different wave, brainwave pattern. Yeah, right. Totally different. Energy is always it's offered, it's not forced, it's just offered. And you know, it may be that the energy comes in, let's say it shows up on the graph at 11 a.m. 11 a.m. you're in a board meeting and you cannot, you're not in that brainwave pattern. That energy is not just gonna suddenly disappear. It takes time for energy to distribute through the through the energy system, through the ionosphere. So let's say five o'clock that night, you finally calm down, you relax. That might be when you start to feel the energy because that's when you start to line up with brainwave patterns. So, so don't judge yourself. Just be there for the journey and be excited about it. If you start to notice a pattern, like if you're opposite of me, like a lot of people are, white energy comes in. If that makes you really, really tired, start keeping track of that. Look for your own patterns. Then use the graph to teach yourself. The greatest joy of a teacher is when the student surpasses the teacher. I I want you to use these tools to learn how to use it for yourself, you know, that way independence is good.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, yes, I love that. Um, I have one final question for you today, Erin. And this is my favorite question I ask all of my podcast guests the same question, and that is what is one thing that you wish everyone on the planet would do in regards to their own well-being?
SPEAKER_01:In regards to their own well-being? Um, I would say treat it as something as important as other people's well-being. And that may be clumsy to say, but we put a lot of pressure on ourselves to make other people happy, right? That's the thing. I want someone to make me happy. I'm gonna make them happy. Um, but happiness really, really is an inside job. If you're trying to make someone else happy, you are chasing a goal that you'll never reach for more than five minutes of a time. But when you start to look inside yourself and figure out what do I need to be happy, the world around you just seems to arrange itself in such a way to facilitate that happiness. And you can see this in reality everywhere. There's a lot of celebrities. The one that comes to mind specifically is Dak Shepherd. He talked a lot about how in his early life, when he was just working out, starting out with acting, he believed when I make that million dollars, when I have the big house, when I have a beautiful wife, everything's gonna be perfect. And then he got it. And he was the most miserable he's ever been. He was just stuck in the throes of addiction. He was about to lose that beautiful wife. He had to suddenly wake up and say, Who am I comparing myself to? Why am I chasing after this? And go inside and figure out what was making him feel like he needed that to fill himself. And once you plug that hole, all of those other things become so less important. Um, and you start to, you know, I was on the boat the other day with some friends of mine and sitting there with my friend, and he's talking about he's got all these things he's got to do on the boat. I go, Troy, just sit down for a second. Can we just take stock on a minute? Five years ago, if I told you you would have been sitting on your boat with your fishing pole in the middle of a weekday with your beautiful wife and your friends, you would have never believed me. And here you are. Can you just for a second stop what you're doing and recognize the power of the moment that you are in right at this moment? And he looked at me and he goes, No one's ever asked me that. I go, I know, I can tell, you know. But but it's it's not that serious. I hate to spoil it for anybody, but nobody gets out alive. So you might as well give yourself permission to have fun and enjoy yourself, and the rest of it just will arrange itself.
SPEAKER_00:Oh, I love that. Give yourself permission. Enjoy yourself, enjoy life. There it is. Yes, and if people are listening to this today and going, hey, I like this lady, I want to book a call with her, I want to know more about her, I want to follow her. Where should they go to find you?
SPEAKER_01:So the easiest way to find me is my website, which is consciouslyarin.com. Um, you can hook straight to my Patreon from there. You can book a private session from there. Um, I am across all the socials with the same exact handle. It's Consciously Aaron. Um, no spaces, no weird characters, no stuff. There's a lot of scammers out there, folks. Um and uh when you see the account, if you are on TikTok, make sure to check you have the right accounts. So there's so I have over 75,000 followers. So make sure you have the right one. There's so many scam ones. Um, but yeah, I'm always here. Our Patreon channel, we're really cultivating a community. There's a message board where you can post questions, you can talk to other people in the community. It's a great place to find someone to a place that that welcomes you where you are, that is excited about all your broken pieces because they're not really broken. Just shine. You know.
SPEAKER_00:Love that. Love that. Well, Aaron, thank you so much for being a guest on this show today. I have really appreciated your information and your time.
SPEAKER_01:Well, thank you so much. I am glad to be here and happy to help anytime.
