Having experienced depression and anxiety her whole life, Isabelle, or Belle, Nicholas knows firsthand the importance of a well-informed community of support. Using her lived experience, she founded Shout Our Struggle to provide much needed education on response, whether it be for oneself or for those in your community. Belle has taken Shout Our Struggle to the Miss America Organization, using that podium to further her work in the field and make as much of a difference as she can. In her first year, Belle was named First Runner Up to Miss New Jersey 2022. She is excited to be competing again in 2023 and even more excited to continue her work in the movement of healing.
