In this episode, I have the pleasure of speaking with Kristin Omreng, the global HR director of PGS, a leading provider of seismic data for the energy sector. In our conversation, Kristin shares her personal journey of balancing the demands of work and motherhood, and the three tools and practices she uses to stay grounded and present. We discuss the importance of taking time for oneself, showing self-compassion, and using mindfulness to reconnect with oneself.

Who is Kristin Omreng?
Kristin is currently Heading the Global HR Function at PGS. She has a Masters in Business & Economics from the Norwegian School of Management. During her studies, she also spent time at Boston University.
Prior to PGS she held Senior HR roles in Aker Solutions, followed by taking on the Chief of Staff role at Høegh Autoliners. Straight out of school she spent a number of years in Executive Search in Hartmark Consulting and Mercuri Urval. Kristin is Norwegian, but actually spent almost her entire childhood outside of Norway.
In addition to her passion for work and long walks in the woods, Kristin is a dedicated mother of two Hennie (12) and Jacob (10).
