As part of the ongoing series on building resilience from the perspective of business owners, entrepreneurs and business leaders, I am very pleased to have interviewed Knut-Magnar Aanestad.
One of Knut-Magnar's main objectives for this episode is to share learning points and enhancers from personal stories that can be adopted by listeners on how tough situations that trigger negative emotions can be transformed to learning.
After leading digital development and innovation in the leading Norwegian Law firms Kluge, Schjødt and Arntzen de Besche over a period of 13 years, Knut-Magnar Aanestad decided to start my own company to maximize my impact on legal and business process development.
Through his first legaltech start-up, Etain, he got new insights by assisting legal services firms and legal roles in companies to work smarter, more efficient, with more insight, thereby increase their business process optimization. This in hand makes a different in optimizing the way buisness i made.
The urge to take new more powerful steps to make a difference in legal service delivery drove him to involve myself heavily in the legal AI startup MAIGON and creating the lega-tech consultancy firm, SEBRA Solutions.
In this episode, Knut-Magnar and I address the following questions, topics and more:
- How did your serious health scare shake up your definition of risk?
- How has conflict in relations affected your ability to think clearly and make decisions.
- Do you have any techniques to help you create distance from overwhelming emotions.
- How has previous hardship formed your ability to tackle difficult situations now?
- How important is self-compassion when we find our selves in a dark place?
