Welcome back to Guided Meditations with Star. Our guided meditation for today is Transformation and Healing. And what a beautiful theme and subject to do meditation on. As it's just begun raining outside, so you may hear this in the background as the drops are falling. On my windows, on my roof, just the pitter patter, and I love that because it's bringing in the energy of literal transformation, purity, cleanse, healing, renewal.
Speaker 1:So when you're ready to dive into this meditation, I'm inviting you now, and if you need to pause this, please find a quiet place and this place, please may it be, be, if you can, a place that no one else can interfere, no one else steps in, maybe a little space in a corner of a room, maybe you have your little prayer room or a spot in the house or flat that no one else accesses, just so we can maintain that stillness, that presence, that energy in that space. And you may want to do this meditation sitting or laying down Not recommended to do standing and when you're comfortable, and please do if you need pillows, cushions, a headrest or towels under your ankles, if you're crossing your legs in the lotus-like position or similar. Now that you're ready, I'm going to invite you to close your eyes and take a nice deep breath in, and when I invite you to do that, I want you to be aware and present of your belly. And when you take that deep breath in, I want that belly to expand, and I use the analogy of creating a pregnant like belly, just really full and rich. And during this practice, I want you to envision that when you're breathing in which you'll be breathing in through your nose perceive the energy of breathing in beautiful white, healing light. And when you exhale, please exhale out your mouth and perceive yourself exhaling out any lower energies, negative thoughts, any tension, any stresses of your day or your week or your year or your life, basically doing a yin and yang exchange, if you will, where we're breathing in beautiful healing energy and we're exhaling everything that we don't want, anything we need to let go of, to bringing in that transformation and healing, as we are our own healers.
Speaker 1:So, finding this quiet space, I invite you to close your eyes and now take a deep breath and out, let go of any tension in your body. Five and slowly exhale through your mouth. Please continue that as I speak and with each breath, you're feeling yourself become more present and we're feeling or changing perception and awareness to become connected into our body, feeling where there might be discomfort, where you can breathe in, and letting go of that discomfort as you exhale, and sort of doing this exercise where we scan our body from head down to our neck, to our shoulders, to our arms, to our hands, to our upper part of our torso in the front as well as the posterior in the back, going all the way down to the abdomen, then our private regions, down our legs to our feet, to our toes. Most people don't really bring presence and awareness to their entire body, even thinking about our finger, our nails on our fingers or our toes, even the tips of our hairs. We just want to create this daily check-in and presence to see how things are when we stepping out of that state of stress and external sensing or external sensory daily activities, if you will right, no more loudness, just stillness.
Speaker 1:And as we continue that breath, think about letting go of the past. What doesn't serve you, that maybe you're holding on quite literally, physically, that a pain, discomfort or injury is being collected at the cellular memory of the body and then tapping into the mind space. What are those thoughts, negativity, stresses, anxieties that we're holding onto, that we don't really want, but it's sort of indoctrinated in our programming now because we think about it all the time and it's taking up a lot of space. I invite you to grant yourself the permission to let it go. You can say in your mind or sometimes it's helpful if you say it out loud too with an affirmation I allow myself to let go of the past, I allow myself to let go of what doesn't serve me. I allow myself to let go of my self-sabotaging habits. I allow myself to be happy. We'll sit with this just for a few moments, as you can insert your own affirmations. Just continue that breath at the same time. We want this to be a continuous breathing practice, almost like a wave when it flows in and flows out Beautiful, beautiful. We're going to just bring back presence, back into the physical, because sometimes those thoughts can take us on a little journey. But use my voice as an anchor, coming back to your breath, coming back to your body, because we want to connect. Now we're going to venture to releasing the future.
Speaker 1:A lot of us get stuck in the stresses of what might arise in the future, creating disruption that doesn't even exist, taking us out of the present. Perhaps an interview or a meeting you have to have with someone, or a difficult conversation or expressing your boundaries that you know is not going to make someone happy. That's creating that anxiety, that stress. We're just releasing all of that now and we do that through the breath, by breathing in positivity, healing light, through the nose as long and as deep as you possibly can as you develop your practice, and exhale, and exhale when you feel like you're out of air. Just try, push a little bit more, because we always have that little bit extra letting go, letting go, letting go and in that, allow yourself to fully arrive in this moment, because we've cleared the past, we've cleared the future, released the future and now we are truly in our body, with our breath, in this present moment. So we're going to shift into shifting awareness now.
Speaker 1:So I'm going to invite you to bring attention to the space around you. Become aware of the energy within and beyond your body, feel yourself expanding beyond your physical form, beyond the labels and limitations of the mind, understanding we are energy, energy flows and where the mind goes, the energy flows too. So create the open mind that anything is possible and the more loving and happy we are, the more, our energy expands and when we're stressed and anxious, our energy contracts. So what we're trying to achieve here is to spread and expand, almost like a beautiful phoenix, to get you into that expansive space, to bring you into your best self and, as the snake sheds its skin, you are transforming into a more expansive being, and to achieve that, we need to activate the heart and the mind to work together. So I'm going to invite you to now place your awareness in your heart center and if you feel the need to physically place your hand on your heart, please take your right hand and do so in the center of your chest and slightly, slightly to the left as well.
Speaker 1:I'm going to invite you to feel gratitude welling up inside you and gratitude for being here for this moment, for the infinite possibilities before you let this feeling grow, filling your entire being. I wonder if you can feel that shift in frequency sparks, if you will, excitement, what can be, what does the best version of yourself look like? Like now, shift your attention to your mind and imagine your brain lighting up, forming new connections, rewiring itself for transformation, creating new neural pathways and consciously understanding that you are stepping beyond the old self, understanding that you are stepping beyond the old self and are creating, feel it, embody it. Align with this version of yourself now and, as you hold this vision, send gratitude ahead of you as if it has already happened. Feel the certainty, the joy, the expansion, encouraging the idea that you're becoming pure energy, letting go of all the thoughts, just being After all, we are human beings, not human doings and feel yourself dissolving into this pure energy. Connect to the infinite field of possibilities.
Speaker 1:Trust that everything you seek is your breath. If maybe you've lost that and you are fully embodied in your new self, just encouraging a nice deep breath in through the nose and out, noticing that your breath has changed, noticing that your mind, space and physical body are a lot more still, yet completely different and more positive at the same time, and excited and motivated. Now, gently bring your awareness from your breathing back to your body and I invite you to do another quick scan from your head all the way down your body, down your extremities to your fingertips, down your abdomen, down your legs, down your feet to your toes, just noticing if there's been any shifts or changes. Or perhaps for something more for next time to focus on. Now I'm going to invite you to wriggle your fingers and your toes and if you still have your hand on your heart, that's beautiful and I'll invite you to keep it there.
Speaker 1:But if, for some reason, in your meditation or your practice, your hand shifted, I'd like to invite you to place it over your heart again. Feel the energy that you've cultivated. This feeling, this shift, it belongs with you and when you move through your day, remember you are not the past, you are the creator of the future. Every thought, every action reinforces this new reality. Return to this feeling whenever you feel you need guidance in your daily practice, in your daily life, knowing that this is yours and no one else can touch it or take it away from you, and when you're ready and person you have chosen to become. Thank you.
