Welcome back to Guided Meditations with Star. I am your meditation guide and this is a guided meditation to make us smile more and find happiness in our daily life. Find happiness in our daily life. So, as we come to a seated position on the ground, you can use a cushion underneath your buttocks or you can feel free to make yourself comfortable in any way you can. I'm going to invite you to gently close your eyes and connect with your breath, the rhythmic breath, the inhales and the exhales, and with every breath you take, you go deeper into a state of relaxation and your mind is becoming more focused and clear. You're feeling your buttocks firmly planted on the floor and feeling your connection with Mother Earth, the ground, the soil and what lies beneath. Your spine is upright and straight. Now we're going to take three deep breaths in here, inhaling deep into your core and exhaling anything you want to let go of A deep inhale and then again exhaling anything that's not serving you right now, and then we're going to tune in to our inner vibration and start with three alms. This also helps to cleanse the energy in the room if you're practicing in a hotel room or an unfamiliar place. So let's breathe in deeply together. Om, om, om. Omming helps to recalibrate our nervous system and calm down our inner senses.

Speaker 1:

So now, as we're sitting here in a peaceful state, we're going to start with a body scan, and I'm going to join you on this body scan. As we start, with our feet and our legs, we feel them as they're effortlessly touching the floor and we thank them for their hard work in supporting us. Daily, we pay attention to our knees and our knee joints and we give them an internal smile. We move up to our pelvis and hip bones and feel their presence, hold space for them and also make them smile, and also make them smile. We become aware of our reproductive organs and thank them for their function in our body. We call in our divine masculine or divine feminine and we ask them to speak to us. We thank them and we move on to our intestines, our stomach, our liver, our spleen and our entire digestive system. Every day and every night, they are effortlessly performing tasks that are crucial to the optimal functioning of our body. We thank them, too and make them smile. We thank them too and make them smile. And then we move up to our lungs and realize, with every inhale and exhale, they are beautifully working automatically and autonomically in our system, performing beautiful tasks every day, and we thank them.

Speaker 1:

And then we go up to our heart and connect with our heartbeat. If you wish to place your hand over your heart at this time, you may do so and we thank our heart for lovingly caressing us every day and we make it smile. And then we move up to our throat. It gives us the power of speech, the power to voice our emotions and connecting with it, thinking it, allowing it to speak, the truth of who we are innately, and we make it smile. And then we connect with our head, neck and shoulders. Just become aware of all of the muscles in our neck and our shoulders that are holding up our head right now, effortlessly, without us even asking for it, and we thank them too. And we thank them too. And we continue on to the face, and all the muscles are of our face that help us express our emotions every day to our loved ones, and we thank all of those muscles and we make our face smile.

Just by putting a smile on our face, we can make so many people happy every day. We have such incredible powers and so many gifts. We remind ourselves to use these gifts every day. Now we go to our heads and we thank our brains for this amazing gift that's giving us life and everyday wisdom. We thank our brains and we make them smile.

Speaker 1:

And now we become aware of our whole body, of our whole self, sitting here, smiling on the mat, smiling in this room, emanating light and love to the world, sitting here in gratitude, in pure joy and stillness. Smiling, we are light. We are light now. Thank yourself for showing up today, for being present to witness this very moment. And as we come back into our bodies again, we become aware of the breath through our nostrils, slow inhales, exhales, and we slowly start to wake up our fingers and our toes. To wake up our fingers and our toes, we take a couple of deep inhales and exhales, as you take in the emotional effects of this practice, and then you can slowly start to open your eyes and start the day afresh.
