We're all suffering and 90% of physician burnout, I posit, can be attributed to insurance based culture.  The way of thinking about medicine needs to change to treat and prevent physician burnout. Seeing more patients, serving everyone and submitting to this is just how it is in medicine is what needs to change to protect our profession.
