#010 - First and Only

This is the first and only time you will ever be here. Of course we hope that we will have a first and only, let's say, engagement and marriage. But even if you get married again, that's your first and only SECOND marriage! And as you master your sport or art, yeah it may be your 10,000th free throw... but that's your first and only 10,000th free throw! When I really sink into this idea, I can't help but see how precious each moment really is. And I can be gentle with myself and reel myself back into the PRESENT if/when I ever creep into the past or the future. This is my first and only NOW. I want to be here for it!
