Speaker 1:

Over the past week, we have looked at how journaling can help you process your emotions, lessen your overwhelm, and how it can be a great tool to help you embrace your God-given sensitivity. And so today, as we hit our final day of our series, I want to wrap up by giving you a clear next step so that you can keep journaling, and I actually want to show you how some personalized support can help you go even deeper. If you're tired of feeling like you're drowning in your emotions and want to stop walking around feeling numb and overwhelmed, you're in the right place. What's up? I'm LaToya, an emotional resilience coach and fellow highly sensitive introvert, who learned how to manage all the feels with journaling, and I love helping women like you identify and work through your emotions, embrace your God-given sensitivity so you can stop running away from your feelings in a way that feels authentic to you, ready to dig in, grab your weighted blanket, get comfy and let's get it. So this is your final reminder to be sure that you have been over in our new Facebook community, latoyaedwardsnet slash community. It's Journal your Feelings over on Facebook, that you have been in there, engaging, interacting, leaving comments, asking your questions, sharing your aha moments, because today is the last day to enter the giveaway to win a free coaching session with me, all right. So today I want to talk about just some next steps that are going to help you stay consistent with journaling and share a little bit about what I do as a coach and how that personalized support can really help you as you are working on building that resilience muscle.

Speaker 1:

So let's recap our series so far. So we talked on day one about why journaling is just really important, especially for highly sensitive introverts, to reduce overwhelm and stress. And then on Tuesday I shared a quick five minute journaling technique that is great to help kind of calm down the noise and quiet the overwhelm that's going on, plus some optional steps you could do to extend that practice. And on day three we did a little bit of myth busting, as I shared three myths and three mistakes that I see highly sensitive, introverted people make when it comes to journaling. So that was really great. And yesterday was day four. I shared some advanced strategies that are going to help you take that journaling to the next level. That's going to help you deepen your emotional processing and actually begin to see more out of the work that you are doing.

Speaker 1:

So I'm curious if you've tried any of the techniques that we talked about this week, right? Whether it's the five minute one, or emotion mapping, or whatever. I want to ask you a question what came up for you, right? What kind of emotions were coming up for you as you were doing those journaling techniques? And then also, how has journaling helped you feel more in control or more clear about what it was that you're feeling?

Speaker 1:

And here's why I'm asking you this, because I know that journaling is a powerful tool all by itself. I tell you, it is the number one thing that made the most difference for me on my journey and in my life. I continue to use it to this day because I know how powerful it is to sit down with my journal and work on my emotional health. Right, it can be, like, really difficult, especially in the beginning, to know what to write or what to do with the things that you're uncovering, right, if you are brand new to journaling, it can be really overwhelming to try to figure out, like, what do I need to write about? How often should I write? What do I do with what I wrote? What if somebody's reading my stuff Like to figure out all those details, and if you are a seasoned journaler, right, or a more advanced journaler, it can be tricky to begin to process and understand all the stuff that you are uncovering so handy right.

Speaker 1:

Because, as your coach, I am there to support you. I am there to help you get unstuck, to help you figure out what it is that you actually need out of your drilling sessions. I can help you get more clarity in what you're seeing. It's so beneficial to have, like, an outside pair of eyes, sometimes like, okay, I'm writing this and this is what I'm seeing, but still doesn't make sense. Like, can you help me sort through this? And I absolutely can as your coach. Right, I've walked through this path before. I'm still on the path with you guys. I'm a high, sensitive introvert, so I understand sensitivity from that way, and I am here to help you really get the most out of your journaling sessions, because what I want for you as your coach is to get to the point where you don't need extra support or need me, right, I want you to be able to have all of the tools that you need, all the techniques that you need, under your belt, so that you feel confident to keep doing this work on your own right.

Speaker 1:

So what are some benefits of working with a coach? Right? Especially for emotional wellness, emotional resilience, as an HSP or an introvert? Well, right, for me it's this personalized approach, right? So I know that as a highly sensitive person, as an introvert, you experience things differently. Right, you're going to feel things more deeply, You're going to think about things more deeply. I know that there are things that we do like overthinking and overdoing things. I understand what it's like to be emotionally exhausted and burn out, what it's like to choose to be numb because you're so overwhelmed by all the things. Okay, and so you are going to get this tailored approach right To what your specific situation is. Okay, I am going to look at your situation, what your needs are, what your struggles are, what your questions are, through the lens, right, of a highly sensitive person and an introvert. That's what you're going to get from me, right? You're also going to get to work through a proven framework. Right, my feel, your feelings coaching framework is what I use. Right, because it gives you a clear path to emotional growth from step zero right, all the way to step five. Right, we can work through that. It's very clear and it's easy to follow and it's easy to implement and understand.

Speaker 1:

I use a holistic approach when it comes to emotional resilience coaching, and all that means is I look at you as a whole person, right, you are not just someone with physical needs or mental needs or spiritual needs or emotional needs, right, I look at you as a whole person, and so we're going to address all aspects of your life, all aspects of who you are. We're going to use things like mindfulness and grounding and journaling and lots of practical exercises, because I want you to be able to take care of your whole self. And, yes, we're focused on emotions, but everything about our bodies and about who we are are tied into our emotions, so we have to address those things. Right, we can't ignore the physical side, we can't ignore the spiritual side, we can't ignore the mental side and just focus on emotion. So I do a holistic approach.

Speaker 1:

You're also going to get tools that are tailored to you and that are going to help you as a sensitive person, right? Because not all self-help tools are designed for sensitive and introspective people. They just aren't. But when you work with me in coaching, you're going to learn techniques that are specifically for people like us, okay, like this is why journaling is such a big tool that I use, because it allows you and me to be introspective, right, to go deep, to think deep, to feel deep all of the things that are our strengths, right, journaling speaks to all of that, and so you're going to get strategies and you know, teachings and videos and things that are going to help support you in your sensitivity as you're doing all of this work. Right, including things like how to manage stress, how to set boundaries, the importance of self-care Like we talk about all of those things because, as somebody with heightened sensitivity, right, your needs are going to look different than the average bear.

Speaker 1:

Okay, and you're going to have ongoing support and accountability. Right, I don't just kind of talk with you one time and then I leave you on your own. No, like we're going to have a relationship together. We're going to meet continually and I'm going to be there with you every step of the way, helping you to stay on track with your goals. Right, I'm going to be there to celebrate with you. I'm going to be there to help you troubleshoot when things happen and be there to encourage you when you're kind of not feeling it. Right, I'm there for you for whatever you need for your journey as your coach.

Speaker 1:

So, if you are ready to take the next step right in your emotional healing journey, if you're ready to take the next step in using journaling to process all the feels, I would love to work with you. Okay, like we're going to work together and we're going to create a personalized journaling and emotional resilience plan that works specifically for you. Right, in our sessions, you are going to be able to identify and understand your emotions, explore, like, the root causes and patterns. You're going to develop strategies on how to process your emotions in a healthy way. Right, and these are going to be your strategies. I don't just have like a can of strategies that I give every single person. No, we're going to look at you, who you are, what your strengths are, what you like to do, and we're going to develop your own strategy specific to you, so that you can build long lasting emotional resilience because you have the confidence to do what needs to be done, right. So in our sessions, we work together on Zoom. You can have your camera on or off, but we're going to hop on a Zoom call.

Speaker 1:

The first session is one hour long with me and you're going to walk away from that session with a custom emotional processing plan. You're going to have a personalized coaching tool, right, I have coaching tools that I use with my clients and I'm going to pick the one that is going to be the perfect fit for you. You're going to get a video of walking you through how to use it, you know and what to do, and you're going to get two weeks of follow-up, email, support and check-ins from me. Like I said, I'm not going to leave you on your own, so you can go over to latoyahedwardsnet slash coaching to learn more about my coaching offer and to book your first session. Okay, you do not have to do this alone. You don't have to walk this path alone. You don't have to process these things alone. You don't have to figure it out all on your own. Any of that, I am here for you for whatever you need. For as long as you need, I want to be here to walk with you on this journey.

Speaker 1:

Okay, journaling is just the beginning of uncovering your strength and your gifts. You know, with that goes with the sensitivity, right? It's just the beginning of being able to embrace your emotions and learn what to do with them, right, how to process them, how to manage them, and I know that for each and every one of you which is a little bit of support, right? A little bit of support, a little bit of encouragement, the right tools, a little bit of education, you can find the peace that you need. Right, you can find exactly what you need to stop running from your emotions, to just learn how to embrace your feelings, embrace your sensitivity, so that you can live the life that you want, and I would consider it a privilege and an honor to work with you one-on-one on your journey.
