Reclaim Yourself with Manisha Tare
Welcome to Reclaim Yourself with Manisha Tare, Somatic Practitioner & Mentor to Highly Sensitive People.
This is a podcast for highly sensitive people, recovering people pleasers, and over givers looking to reconnect back to their bodies and rebuild self-trust.
Each month, you'll hear personal insights, client inspired stories, and how my trauma-informed, somatic approach can help you reclaim your sense of self, own your worth, and trust yourself so you feel empowered to set boundaries, stop abandoning your needs, and confidently express yourself in your relationships. You'll also learn ways to support your nervous system and harness the energy of your emotions so you can offer your gifts to the world without burning yourself out.

Ep. 42 One shift to feel seen, heard, and understood in relationships as a highly sensitive person
Like most humans, you want to feel seen, heard, and understood. As someone who’s highly sensitive, you are VERY attuned to how present other people are when they are with you.
I’ve found over the years of working with highly sensitive humans that they crave this deeper level of attention (I do too!)
And if this is you, because you're so empathetic and tuned in, others feel seen, heard, and understood in their presence, but you may rarely experience this.
In today’s episode, I’m sharing a pattern I’ve noticed when this particular dynamic is playing out and how you may be contributing to it 🫣
We’ll dive into:
- what you might be doing (or not doing) that’s keeping you stuck in one-sided relationships
- a few journal prompts to offer you insight into this pattern and how it’s playing out for you
- one simple (not always easy) way you can start shifting this pattern to feel more seen, heard, and understood in your relationships
