Siegfried "Sig" Jay Tiegs

Siegfried "Sig" Tiegs is a Major, U.S. Army (Ret.), author, speaker, and founder of Do Hard Things Nation.  Sig knows what it takes to forge identity under pressure.

Beyond 27 years in the military, Sig has completed ultramarathons, the Missouri River 340-mile paddle race, the Dirty Kanza 200, Expedition Ozark, and summited Mount Kilimanjaro at 19,341 feet with clients. His name, Siegfried, means Peaceful Warrior — an identity he reclaimed after his own transition out of uniform. That story is the foundation of his work.

Today Sig is a certified high-performance coach, trauma-informed healer, and breathwork facilitator. Through The Do Hard Things™ Forge, he helps driven people get focused, energized, and clear — so they stop drifting and build a peaceful, powerful, and productive life.

Co-author of the Amazon Best Seller Life on Offense and host of the Do Hard Things Podcast.
