Day 14 - Check in Adjust

Christina: [00:00:00] ask yourself, what are my wins? What are my biggest accomplishments so far? What small victories have I had that I might be overlooking?

Momentum builds when we recognize and appreciate our progress. No matter how small, every step forward counts.

Welcome to Clear and On Purpose, the podcast designed to help you cut through the noise and get back to what matters most. If you're feeling stuck but need to take intentional action, you're in the right place. I'm Kristina Slaibach, homeschooling mom of two and life and business coach, helping you drop in and align with your values and create more space.

Each week I'll be sharing practical insights and simple, Actual steps to help you find clarity, boost your energy and design a life that balances ambition with. Let's dive in and get clear on [00:01:00] purpose.

welcome back to Clearing On Purpose, and we are halfway through Momentum Month. I can't believe it. You've already been taking action, setting goals, making changes, and now it's time to check in. So today we're going to talk all about reflection, what's working, what's not, and what adjustments you need to make to keep building momentum.

Taking time to reflect is key to achieving your goals. Without regular check ins, it's easy to get off course or feel discouraged because you don't see progress. But when you pause and assess, you can celebrate your wins, make tweaks, and stay on track. Let's dive into some questions that can help you through this reflection.

these reflection questions I actually like to do on a weekly basis, just in terms of my overall goal setting. But at least halfway through, a big project or goal that you're working on, come in and take a [00:02:00] chance to reflect and review and make any adjustments. these are the steps that I take during my review process.

First, celebrate your wins. So let's acknowledge what went well. When we focus on what still needs work and we forget about to celebrate our progress, we can lose momentum. So we want to ask yourself, what are my wins? What are my biggest accomplishments so far? What small victories have I had that I might be overlooking?

Momentum builds when we recognize and appreciate our progress. No matter how small, every step forward counts. Question two. What's working? So let's highlight what's supporting your progress. So things to consider would be, What's working in my life right now? What habits and actions are helping me? What systems, tools, or routines are making things easier?

These are all the things that go into supporting [00:03:00] that goals. By recognizing what's working, you can double down on those things, and you can keep using them to your advantage. Question three, what's not working? Take an honest look at what isn't serving you. This isn't about judgment, it's just about awareness.

So, ask yourself, What things are not going well? Where am I feeling drained or stuck? What habits or actions are working against me? Sometimes what worked at the start of a journey doesn't work for the long term. So be willing to pivot and adjust. That's a strength, not a failure.

Question four. What are some lessons that I'm learning? Every experience, good or bad, teaches us something. So what insights have you gained? You can think about, what lessons have I learned so far? What have I discovered about myself? and my own [00:04:00] habits and processes. What unexpected realizations have come up?

The key is to take these lessons and use them to move forward more effectively. Question 5. What adjustments do I need to make? we're going to refine your approach for the next phase of your journey. you want to ask yourself, What do I need to adjust for next week? Based on what's working, based on what's not, where I am with my goals, and the lessons that I've learned, what small tweaks would make a big difference?

How am I feeling? And what do I need? These are questions that I really like to tune back into in terms of tuning back into that center and that why. So at the end of any reflection period, as I reflect on all the outward things that are going on, the habits, the processes the external celebrations, I do really want to look at, like, how am I feeling?

Am [00:05:00] I still feeling good? Is this still feeling aligned? And then what do I need? not just what do I need for my goals, but what do I personally need? And as you continue to adjust and look at this, taking this time for this reflection can be really informative. It can, by actually writing it out on paper and not just thinking about it as you're going through an episode like this, but actually taking out pen and paper and doing this reflection process.

Things can come up that you might have overlooked, that don't spring to mind right away, but they can be really valuable in helping you to achieve those goals and achieve them faster and with more ease. checking in isn't something to do just halfway through a challenge. It's a really powerful habit to make as part of your regular routine.

Weekly Reflections can help you stay on track, make necessary shifts, and keep [00:06:00] moving forward with clarity and purpose. You're halfway through creating momentum, so let's keep going together. Take a few minutes, reflect, using these questions. I'd love to hear what insights you have, and keep up the great work.

We'll see you next time on Clear and On Purpose.
