Today we talk about Assignment of Benefits Agreements, commonly referred to as an AOB. They are used across automobile and property claims and it is a first-party property agreement with a vendor. An AOB allows a policyholder to assign the benefits that they would normally get under their insurance policy to a third party. This allows that third party to make an insurance claim on their behalf.
