Aly Wilson

Aly is full time stay at home mom to her  two daughters, Beth who is 2 and Hannah who was born in spring 2023. Aly was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and grew up swimming competitively with the Multnomah Athletic Club swim team. She was a 2-time Oregon State Swimming Champion and went on to swim at the University of Idaho, graduating in 2011 with a BS in Psychology. 

Looking to feed her competitive side after college Aly found triathlon and immediately fell in love with it. This opened her up to the world of endurance sports. To date she’s raced in 3 sanctioned 70.3s (and one mock 70.3 in 2020), and has also found a passion for open water racing. In 2012 Aly placed first for women and 3rd overall, in the 11 mile Portland Bridge Swim.

Outside of swimming and triathlon, Aly enjoys hiking with her family, and spending as much time as possible on the Oregon Coast.

Amy Henderson

Amy is a professional triathlete and mom of two to Oliver who is 4 and Margot who is 2. Amy got started in triathlon at the age of 9 when she raced with her mom and was inspired to try an Ironman by her older brother Ted. Amy earned her elite-license in triathlon by placing 10th overall amateur at Kona in 2018. After that race she took a break from racing to have her son, Oliver. After the cancelled 2020 season and giving birth to her daughter, Amy raced her rookie pro season in 2022.  For the 2023 season Amy plans to focus on road cycling and cyclocross. Amy races with the Pacific Northwest team Pacific Office Automation Cycling. 

Outside of triathlon, Amy's professional work has focused on social psychology research. Amy is originally from Wisconsin and settled in Portland, OR to be close to her husband Nick's family. She feels very at home in Portland as she loves to befriend outdoor cats, ride her bike, and journal in coffee shops.

Jen Gottschalk

Jen is a commercial attorney and mom to her almost 2 year old son, Maddox. Swimming was Jen's first love. She joined her first swim club at the age of 4.5 and went on to swim Division 1 in the Pac 10 at Washington State University. Jen also ran cross country in middle school and high school. At the end of college she and her dad made a deal that if she signed up for a triathlon, her parents would help her buy her first road bike. In 2012 and 2013 Jen raced draft legal sprint triathlons. She took a break while going to law school and then in 2018 started training for her first long course season. In that first season (2019) Jen raced three Ironman 70.3 triathlons, including the World Champs in Nice, and raced her first Ironman triathlon. In 2021, she had her son, Maddox and 10 months later raced Ironman Alaska!
