#17. Trust your gut: what good gut health looks like and why you should care more, with Clinical Nutritionist Greta Thurgood
With gut health fast becoming the topic of many social media posts and the well-known debates around fibre, plant-based foods, cleanses and detoxes all front and centre in the world of gut health, I thought it was worth getting the low down on exactly what good gut health is from Clinical Nutritionist Greta Thurgood.
Specialising in integrative medicine and with a passion for all things relating to digestion, Greta is fast becoming an expert in the field (and has an amazing ability to explain things in a way everyone can understand!).
In this episode we cover:
- Exactly what good gut health is and why you should care about it;
- Common causes of poor gut health;
- How you can tell when your gut isn't to healthy; and
- What steps you can take now to improve your gut health.
I found this whole discussion super interesting with plenty of practical things you can do to put you on the path to good (or better!) gut health.
