0:38 - of the days was probably ruined by like

0:45 - then what else but then it was sort of
0:48 - off and on over there yeah nice but
0:50 - traffic's horrendous at the moment yeah
0:54 - from what I've heard it looks and and
0:56 - seen it looks pretty um pretty stacked
0:58 - over there like everyone's just to get
1:01 - to place takes a couple hours right
1:03 - there's no real easy fix either there's
1:06 - just so much people and so many of those
1:08 - bikes well in the Philippines like I
1:10 - said to you the other day um they have
1:13 - rotations of days so if you've got a
1:15 - certain number in your um number plate
1:17 - then you can't drive on a Monday
1:19 - Wednesday or Friday so maybe they can
1:21 - Implement something maybe they already
1:22 - have like you just don't know bro so
1:24 - yeah something sort of needs to be I
1:25 - don't know if they can but like yeah or
1:28 - tourists or just charge you run a little
1:29 - bit bit more like yeah I'll pay to just
1:33 - half the traffic time that I was stuck
1:34 - in just going from like you'd go
1:37 - five under 10ks and it would take like
1:39 - cuz you'd always stay around changu SE
1:43 - se but going from seak to changu was
1:45 - like an hour yeah yeah I remember I
1:47 - remember they like right next door to
1:49 - each other but you have to go sort of
1:50 - around yeah I remember going there the
1:53 - last time I went there and I even I
1:54 - couldn't believe it then I was like bro
1:56 - it used to be so quick cuz it used to be
1:57 - just all fine bro like you drive through
2:00 - and it'd be just clear roads and you fly
2:02 - Zoom if you're on a scooter be flying
2:03 - through yeah but you know as we get
2:05 - older we've got our families with us you
2:07 - just want to jump in the car and that
2:09 - yeah I think social media too like the
2:12 - social media AG out just pumped barley
2:14 - up and everyone sees it and then just
2:16 - sees all the highlights and then yeah
2:18 - everyone just travels down hits it hard
2:19 - so but it's good did some training over
2:21 - there did some boxing how was that
2:23 - session with that dude bro yeah bro he
2:25 - was good he's good he's um I did the
2:28 - first time I went to Bary I did of his
2:30 - classes mhm and then yeah I just teed up
2:32 - a like a PT session with him um it was
2:36 - hard to I wish I did more but um well
2:39 - traveling in a group just makes things a
2:41 - bit harder when you and the rain just
2:43 - planning each day we sort of just had to
2:45 - wake up in the morning and just try and
2:46 - figure it out yep so that was cool um
2:50 - did another gym [ __ ] the name's gone
2:53 - past me but like the setups over there
2:55 - they got the like the ice bath the sauna
2:58 - the spa and then a pool pool area and
3:02 - then just [ __ ] it's good like lifestyle
3:04 - wise yeah I don't know I prefer that
3:06 - than the going to a beach club pool area
3:08 - I'd rather just hit the gym hard and
3:09 - then just chill out have a coffee so you
3:12 - went to a place that was like that yeah
3:13 - what was the name of the
3:15 - place forgot it now okay um I'll Google
3:19 - it as you're talking but um yeah so
3:22 - finish your gym SES and then go do like
3:25 - ice bath everything one place yeah just
3:28 - everything and Cafe is right right there
3:30 - so it's just like that lifestyle then
3:32 - like you know the rice Patty fields are
3:33 - out and most of these places are owned
3:35 - by foreigners too right or like guys
3:37 - from either Australia or other countries
3:40 - which sort of and and from what I'm
3:42 - hearing what you said last time I spoke
3:44 - to you about this um they're charging
3:45 - the same sort of prices that they would
3:47 - anywhere else yeah no it was uh yeah
3:50 - expensive I think I think it was man 40
3:53 - bucks 50 bucks nearly to do recovery and
3:57 - training but I think um
4:00 - so when you do like a day pass yeah
4:02 - that's like the highest amount and then
4:05 - you have three days seven days and once
4:07 - you get up to monthly I think it evens
4:10 - out a bit you know but they just take
4:12 - advantage of the tourists coming in like
4:14 - me like they know I'm not going to yeah
4:16 - charging Yeah Bang it's just the cost of
4:19 - P you know yeah sick they are there are
4:21 - the cheap gyms usually they don't have
4:23 - airon like five 10 bucks Hotel gym was
4:26 - good at one at one of the resorts we
4:28 - were at and then the other one not so
4:31 - much M yeah but there's like couple
4:34 - different sides to Bary right there's
4:36 - the um that exercise fitness style yeah
4:40 - like the beach clubs clubbing and all
4:43 - that style as well that you can sort of
4:45 - and then the family holidays Peaches I
4:47 - don't know UB and that do all the biking
4:50 - and the fight s and yeah yeah so that
4:53 - was good what are the goals for
4:56 - 2025 for me yeah to be the [ __ ] no
5:00 - man bro I just want to say no to a lot
5:03 - of things last year was a year of
5:05 - learning um I said yes to way too many
5:09 - things
5:10 - and bro straight the [ __ ] out he what
5:14 - the [ __ ] red flag don't do that my
5:16 - knee's [ __ ] straight up you know I'm
5:18 - going to be
5:19 - honest it wasn't the best decision that
5:22 - I've made um so there last year was a
5:24 - year of learning you know I got up to
5:26 - 140 kg in terms of my weight um my body
5:30 - my niece still feels like [ __ ] um so
5:34 - honestly bro 2024 was just a year of
5:37 - like what am I going to do next year
5:40 - yeah and I started my 2025 in November
5:44 - I'm down 15 or 16 kilos now which is
5:47 - good a good start yeah it's like you're
5:49 - starting 2025 like on the front foot
5:51 - already even with all the weights and
5:53 - that like you're far ahead of me just
5:55 - going by the numbers and lot of the the
5:57 - volume you can tell like I had a [ __ ]
5:59 - from December fromy and you will keep
6:02 - going I had to you know that time that
6:05 - we had off I was just like you know what
6:07 - I'm just going to [ __ ] start ripping
6:08 - in now yeah and then lead into it and
6:10 - like I owe it to one of the boys who's
6:12 - been doing this sort of like
6:13 - transformation phase with me his name's
6:15 - Sam he's from Brisbane um I got him on
6:18 - Carnival like pretty much what we did in
6:19 - September but I got him on Carnival for
6:21 - 30 days he' pretty much be going back
6:23 - and forth every day just messaging each
6:25 - other we did that we did um sort of like
6:27 - more of an animal based adding food as
6:29 - well in December yeah and we're just
6:31 - like paralleling each other and it's
6:33 - cool it's nice to have that small
6:34 - community that's already started in
6:36 - November and then we're pushing on
6:37 - through this year yeah but like my one
6:39 - goal this year bro is to say no I said
6:42 - yes to so many [ __ ] things last year
6:44 - and to be honest bro like I felt like I
6:46 - play played uh paid the price you know
6:49 - there were so many things at the end of
6:51 - the year that I was like goals that I
6:52 - had in terms of finances in terms of you
6:56 - know even my own like
6:59 - mental health all that sort of [ __ ] it
7:02 - didn't get hit because I said yes way
7:04 - too many times so this year I'm just
7:06 - going to [ __ ] the the scapegoat is
7:08 - going to be like no it's cuz you like
7:11 - you have time Freedom a little bit and
7:13 - it's easy like you can say yes to
7:15 - everything but then that's
7:17 - also like it works against you yeah bro
7:20 - it if we really wanted to we could go to
7:23 - Footy like that we could train fighting
7:27 - but it does I think I spoke about it
7:30 - like
7:32 - um so when I was thinking about setting
7:35 - my goals I was like those things pop up
7:38 - like The Run clubs it's like [ __ ] should
7:39 - I go run a marathon um should I go be a
7:43 - BJJ like you know there's that should I
7:45 - do my first boxing
7:46 - fight the sort of lady in the red dress
7:49 - type things as well and like I was think
7:52 - I spoke about like so if I went went to
7:56 - run a marathon like how how much
7:58 - training and energy that to become what
8:02 - I don't know like an below average
8:04 - runner at best yeah bro there's a
8:07 - realism to it that you that you know
8:10 - that you know if I started BJJ yeah it's
8:12 - good but it's going to take me 12 15
8:14 - years to become a black belt if I wanted
8:16 - to plus it's going to be that's a four
8:19 - to five 1 hour commitments extra on top
8:21 - of what I'm doing and then the boxing
8:24 - fight was sort of similar like do I go
8:26 - have an amateur fight that um
8:30 - like they're all cool things don't get
8:31 - me wrong but like sometimes they
8:33 - distract from like what you're sort of
8:35 - good at anyway yeah yeah I agree don't
8:38 - you think I agree and
8:40 - like that's all it's been like the last
8:43 - two months bro cuz I've been pretty
8:46 - silent on social media and like it's all
8:48 - been strategic for myself cuz I had to
8:50 - figure that all that out you know with
8:53 - what we do there is time with what we do
8:55 - there is money with what we
8:57 - do like there's so much much there's
9:00 - more options that come at you and to
9:02 - like say no last year was like the yes
9:04 - year for me and bro I like you know the
9:06 - boxing that we did my KN was [ __ ] in
9:08 - boxing bro I bro my elbow was [ __ ] you
9:11 - know what I mean then we started doing
9:12 - like 180 pushing real heavy and like my
9:14 - elbow was [ __ ] again and I just had a
9:16 - year I was like bro and I felt like it
9:19 - was just pushing me back mentally and
9:21 - then I got to the end of the end I was
9:22 - like you know what [ __ ] this bro I'm
9:23 - just going to do my own [ __ ] and like I
9:25 - even started this year thinking I was
9:27 - going to go jump on board with the crew
9:30 - down could you I like no bro you have to
9:32 - just like knuckle in and just do your
9:34 - own [ __ ] yeah the hardest thing is to
9:36 - say no to those things and just keep
9:37 - doing like real boring stuff like the
9:40 - [ __ ] that we know yeah like you dial
9:42 - back and be like ah just got to keep
9:44 - doing the like the same boring stuff
9:46 - that I've been doing the last two years
9:49 - but like those like little marathons or
9:51 - the BJJ or the boxing it's so exciting a
9:53 - and you're like that's the hardest thing
9:56 - to to say no to you have to you know
10:00 - like and it's boring doing content doing
10:03 - the same I don't even know if it'll ever
10:05 - get to the point where you know we're in
10:06 - a place where we can go do doing do
10:08 - those things because like this year I'm
10:10 - just I'm real focused you know start
10:13 - said this to the other day like I'm so
10:14 - focused on 2025 and I haven't felt like
10:17 - this in years like I haven't felt the
10:19 - feeling that I have and it's very quiet
10:22 - you know I can feel the patience I can
10:24 - feel the delay gratification I'm not
10:26 - talking too much I'm just like
10:27 - completing completing completing and
10:28 - it's it's it's good to start like that
10:30 - bro and to be honest like in terms of
10:32 - goals there's nothing really set in
10:33 - front of me it's just one goal every day
10:37 - is just to be consistent to wake up and
10:39 - do the same [ __ ] every day and do it for
10:41 - as long as I can thinking about it we
10:43 - did no podcast last year hey did we do
10:46 - even do 10 that's a form of that's a
10:48 - form of accountability for us bro like
10:50 - yeah the podcast is
10:52 - like cuz we got to like maybe we done
10:55 - we're doing too sort of like trying to
10:57 - be two time efficient yeah like going
10:59 - from the gym to here as a little extra
11:01 - effort because you got to take half an
11:03 - hour then thing and then I got to edit
11:04 - the podcast and we got to put it out
11:06 - like but then yeah thinking back I was
11:09 - like [ __ ] doing other [ __ ] what was
11:12 - missing what's the stuff that was
11:14 - missing you know for us that keeps us I
11:16 - feel like when we first started doing
11:17 - this in 2025 2025
11:21 - 2022 even though like we did do a lot of
11:23 - volume it's sort of like kep kept us in
11:27 - the zone and War like thing but last
11:28 - year bro I was [ __ ] like bro i' got
11:31 - so much free time I don't know what the
11:32 - [ __ ] I'm I'm doing with my life yeah
11:34 - that's I felt that as well and then just
11:37 - sort of going away from the content at
11:39 - certain times and like the waves that we
11:42 - have too bro like you know even this
11:45 - week is a perfect example like when we
11:46 - did content ill prepared like I was so
11:48 - epared bro I'm likeing going [ __ ] that's
11:51 - [ __ ] bro but you know those are the the
11:56 - waves that we also go through as you
11:58 - know content creators if you want to
11:59 - call it but then just finding that
12:01 - consistency and then sticking to us I
12:03 - think the longest that we've had bro
12:05 - with the content side of things is maybe
12:06 - like 10 12 10 11 weeks yeah and we
12:09 - pumping yeah I remember those days we
12:12 - pumping yeah and it sort of helps with
12:14 - everything as well just to stay but it's
12:16 - so boring eh don't you think it's like
12:19 - monotonous yeah cuz it's so we've always
12:22 - done it um but I guess that's the level
12:25 - of Mastery sort of yeah you have to
12:28 - train and just do like it's same with
12:30 - training right yeah you get we do the
12:33 - same workout Tuesday and Thursday bro
12:36 - [ __ ] we could do different sort of
12:38 - trainings like that are always popping
12:40 - up latest trends or whatnot like run
12:43 - clubs and they look like mad oh yeah
12:45 - let's do that but then you sort of got
12:46 - to say no to that and
12:48 - just yeah stick to there's only so much
12:51 - time and energy you have to lock into
12:53 - things I think that's the hardest thing
12:55 - to to do these days and there's like
12:58 - everyday life you know we're both dads
13:01 - we
13:02 - both have so many things to do away from
13:05 - what we do already it's it's it's
13:07 - important to like just dial in you know
13:10 - that's me this year just [ __ ] dial in
13:12 - and no to everything bro no to
13:14 - everything setting up 2025 I think yeah
13:18 - I thought I going to get back to a lot
13:20 - of the um Mobility standards I feel like
13:23 - when my training's on point a lot more
13:25 - just um been doing that head to toe the
13:28 - last two days [ __ ] torture [ __ ] me
13:31 - just I feel sick when I do it yeah so
13:35 - doing the head to toe might do a bit of
13:36 - content on that um that takes 10 been
13:40 - doing a lot of the low body Basics and
13:42 - then the training as well so got a good
13:44 - routine through that um yeah I was sort
13:50 - of having a look at how I should sort of
13:53 - change up the training this year but
13:55 - yeah just adding just a little bit of
13:57 - those things instead of like a whole
13:59 - yeah different thing like don't go too
14:00 - far from what has been working yeah
14:03 - think maybe try and do like uh I don't
14:05 - know like keeping that 180 bench like
14:07 - trying to work towards that we got the
14:10 - volume um maybe like a 100 kilo dip or
14:14 - something yeah mad mad and then with
14:16 - that's a good point actually bro cuz I
14:17 - started doing dips waited dips we hadn't
14:19 - done them for [ __ ] years for years
14:21 - and then I did them while you away in
14:24 - barley if they they're mad bro yeah like
14:27 - even just if you if you're testing
14:29 - strength out and doing like three 3 RM
14:31 - you know I did a couple 3 RM for like
14:33 - three or four weekends in a row just to
14:35 - see what the push-ups gave me those 500
14:37 - of push-ups that they did uh during
14:39 - November yep it just it carries over bro
14:42 - he feels strong he just like locked and
14:44 - and then when you go back to body weight
14:45 - it feels the feel that lightness when
14:47 - you've done weighted stuff yeah I've
14:49 - always always feel super strong when I
14:51 - do weighted chin up dips push-ups if
14:55 - I've got a vest or something like that
14:57 - yeah cuz you cannot you do the volume eh
15:00 - and then you can do volume with the
15:01 - weight and then you go back or you test
15:03 - your lifts and you're like oh that's
15:05 - when you feel it like I feel like the
15:07 - combination those 500 push-ups bro
15:09 - they're [ __ ] Banger yeah I start with
15:11 - them so just to give you an idea what I
15:13 - what I did in November and December I
15:15 - did 500 push-ups a day for November
15:18 - every day and then I did 50 chin UPS a
15:20 - day for December and then when I
15:23 - finished the 500 push-ups I was
15:25 - incorporating those dips and I just feel
15:27 - strong like you saw him s me underneath
15:28 - the bar I'm just like bouncing bro so
15:32 - yeah that works man that volume and that
15:34 - combination of just that rule stock CU
15:37 - dips is a [ __ ] hard exercise to do
15:39 - when it's weighted cuz there's so much
15:41 - stability that you got to have otherwise
15:43 - you're going to [ __ ] flounder it so
15:45 - yeah hard yeah but it works man it works
15:49 - yeah and then locking in bit of business
15:50 - stuff as well going hard on that just
15:52 - the same [ __ ] really just more are we
15:54 - doing our um 12-hour [ __ ] days we'll
15:59 - try [ __ ] that would be [ __ ] gangster

16:06 - six yeah yeah I can [ __ ] hit that I
16:10 - can try mine will probably be a little
16:11 - bit broken up in certain spots like have
16:14 - a break and then go from like 5 to 8 or

16:18 - think yeah I'd still like to keep like
16:21 - it be yeah it'd be just finding out what
16:23 - [ __ ] I think I'd run out of things to do
16:26 - I don't know 12 hours I've got heaps of
16:28 - [ __ ] to do bro I think maybe like a
16:31 - solid eight like actual eight not like a
16:34 - [ __ ] around 12 like you know yeah I've
16:39 - got so much [ __ ] like I know I've got so
16:41 - much [ __ ] to do and I've got a [ __ ]
16:43 - huge list and I but I still feel like I
16:45 - could bang all that honestly I could
16:47 - bang that all that in a couple days yeah
16:48 - if if I focused in yeah imagine doing a
16:51 - proper 12-hour day you could probably do
16:52 - it in like a week what you sort of need
16:54 - to do well if you did like a 100 minutes
16:57 - of content

17:03 - yeah even the editing side like I'd
17:05 - probably dedicate the time to like a
17:08 - skill you know what I mean like I I edit
17:12 - but I don't edit like how I could edit
17:15 - yeah it'd be nice to learn a skill like
17:17 - that bro like I think editing would be
17:19 - cool I do um gravitate towards those
17:23 - content creators that are like I don't
17:26 - know I just like storytelling I feel
17:28 - like I could be real real good at that

17:32 - be something I sort of dived into during
17:34 - that time yeah putting out the content
17:36 - following up with messages clients the
17:39 - messages would be the big one yeah

17:49 - yearsing a million [ __ ] actually like
17:53 - I've probably spoken to 20,000 people
17:57 - [ __ ] 20,000 people so what's that a
18:01 - year that's [ __ ] 10 5,000 a year yeah
18:05 - something like that [ __ ] [ __ ] that's
18:07 - huge yeah probably how many sales have
18:10 - you made in those years
18:12 - too I guess like 4,000 or

18:21 - Bary like [ __ ] you see all the online
18:24 - trainers over there like heaps are full
18:25 - of [ __ ] like y can tell cuz yeah I can
18:29 - tell like because obviously if you go to
18:31 - Barley and you become an online trainer
18:34 - I think you need about you can get away
18:37 - with between 1 to 2,000 a month to live
18:39 - over there
18:41 - right yeah probably covering everything
18:44 - nearly CU it's so cheap to live if you
18:47 - just don't live in simyak and changu and
18:50 - that and live just a little bit out red
18:52 - gets obviously way cheaper food's cheap
18:55 - don't need a car got no
18:57 - mortgage um
18:59 - um and then you can just you know work
19:02 - on that Fitness but I feel like they get
19:03 - a bit stuck they're super good at
19:05 - training but then the business sides all
19:07 - right even if they have heaps of
19:09 - followers I don't know I feel like I can
19:10 - tell how people live and move these days
19:14 - just from their socials a little bit
19:16 - Yeah and then client results like just
19:19 - that I don't know sixense just being in
19:22 - the game for so long 100% [ __ ] do it
19:24 - in Sydney you [ __ ] you want to press
19:26 - me [ __ ] do it in Sydney yeah

19:29 - cost of living we said like they CT from

19:53 - tell yeah you can just tell you can tell
19:56 - the difference between someone that's in
19:58 - there just for the [ __ ] sake of it
20:00 - and then someone who knows what they
20:01 - what they're doing yeah I feel like even
20:03 - from the stuff that I've learned from
20:05 - you like I'm starting to filter that
20:08 - [ __ ] out as as well like there's
20:10 - only a couple of conversations that I
20:11 - can have with people bro like I sit down
20:13 - and try to explain what I essentially do
20:16 - and they look at me like I'm [ __ ]
20:19 - like bro that's a madeup [ __ ] job
20:22 - like okay yeah it is you know what I
20:23 - mean but yeah hard you know and I'm not
20:26 - even that good at it bro like I wouldn't
20:28 - say one of the [ __ ] best you I
20:31 - learning from one of the best in my
20:32 - opinion but um yeah it just takes it
