Bianca is a passionate educator & advocate in the doula community. As a lesbian + mother, Bianca brings a unique perspective to her work, emphasizing the importance of balancing professional responsibilities with personal life, especially for mothers. She is deeply committed to addressing issues like queer care, combating fatphobia in medicine, & exploring women’s rage and its implications. Her journey into this field began as a new parent grappling with postpartum depression in an unsafe home environment + limited support/resources, she turned to doula training to transform her life. This path led her to create bebo mia, a response to the limitations of weekend trainings, & lacked massive amounts of critical content as well as practical business guidance. Bianca’s mission extends beyond doula care to teaching effective  business management, community building, client care, + efficient systems for working parents in the healthcare sector.
