Homelessness to Housing: Real Life example of how to help, Lloyd's Journey to Permanent Housing
In this episode, we catch up with Doug, a local homeless advocate, to hear an important update on Lloyd, a formerly homeless individual who we met in a previous episode. Doug shares how he helped Lloyd secure permanent housing through a HUD voucher. We also discuss the challenges faced by other unhoused individuals, and how to help them as a regular volunteer "bridging gaps" to the available resources.
