Confusion to Clarity
So… If This Year Felt Hard, Let’s Explore Why
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Have you looked back on this year and thought…
“I didn’t really achieve anything.”
“Nothing big happened.”
“Why does it feel heavier than last year?”
If so, this episode is for you.
In today’s episode, I’m introducing a concept that completely changed how I understand personal growth, emotional exhaustion, and those years that feel confusing, stagnant, or quietly painful. The Reckoning Year and once you hear this concept, your year may suddenly make sense.
This isn’t an episode about productivity, goal-setting, or “doing more.”
It’s about clarity. Truth. And the unseen inner work that often comes before real transformation.
In this episode, I explore:
- Why some years feel emotionally exhausting even when nothing “dramatic” happens
- The three-year pattern of growth most people don’t realise they’re moving through
- The Cracking Year – when things start to feel off
- The Reckoning Year – when truth can no longer be ignored
- The Rebuilding / Integration Year – when alignment quietly begins
- Why resurfacing memories, grief, and detachment are signs of growth — not failure.
- How over-giving, people-pleasing, and silencing yourself often come into focus during a reckoning year
- What not to do after a year like this (hint: rushing to “fix” everything)
- How to move forward with clarity, boundaries, and alignment — without forcing change
You might be in a reckoning year if:
- You feel drained, even though your life looks “fine” on the outside
- You’re noticing patterns in relationships or work you can’t unsee anymore
- Old memories or emotions keep resurfacing
- You feel grief for things that happened — and for things that never did
- You feel detached from people or situations that once pulled you in
- Your boundaries suddenly feel non-negotiable
If any of that resonates, this episode will help you reframe your year, not as wasted time, but as a powerful turning point.
Why this episode matters
We’re taught to measure years by achievements, milestones, and visible success. But some of the most important years don’t produce trophies, they produce truth.
And truth changes everything.
If this year felt heavy, confusing, or disappointing, I want you to hear this:
You didn’t waste it.
You survived it.
You learned from it.
And you’re already building what comes next.
