Oscar Gonzalez is the founder and CEO of Sigma Lab Consulting, a biopharma operations consultancy that helps life sciences teams find where their operations are breaking down and fix it. A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, he works on operational risk, systems-level diagnostics, and the gap between how programs are planned and how they run. His career began in academic research across oncology, regenerative medicine, and microbiology, then moved into biotech and pharma, where he spent several years as a program, project, and alliance manager in R&D and Clinical. He has been building Sigma Lab since 2020. Oscar is the author of Predictably Broken, a book on why biopharma operations fail in the same ways again and again. He is a frequent speaker, with talks at ASQ BOSCON, Smartsheet Engage, and Outsourcing Clinical Trials New England, and guest lectures at Northeastern University. He has also appeared on radio, podcasts, and in online publications.
