Leonard Javier Alonzo

Leonard Javier Alonzo is the founder and President of JLR America, a national wholesale supplier of appliance installation accessories, mattress encasements, and warehouse supplies serving over 500 rent-to-own stores across the country. His RTO roots run deep — Leonard began his career in the industry working his way up from store manager to regional director overseeing 54 locations, with stops at Champion, ColorTyme, and Aaron's, where he was named Regional Manager of the Year in 1995. After decades in operational leadership, he identified a critical gap in the RTO supply chain and launched JLR America to fill it — building a team with over 50 years of combined in-store experience. His origin story is equally remarkable: the son of a Uruguayan glass artist discovered by Walt Disney himself at the 1965 World's Fair, Leonard's path to entrepreneurship is one of craft, grit, and seizing opportunity.
