Cecilia Kaye

Cecilia Kaye is the widow of Kirk Kaye, a beloved rent-to-own industry veteran who served as Vice President of Operations at First American Rental in Atlanta before opening Gator Rents in Daytona Beach, Florida. Kirk passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of community service, mentorship, and selfless leadership that continues to resonate across the RTO industry. In his honor, the Florida Rental Dealers Association (FRDA) created the Kirk Kaye Volunteer Award — named both for his spirit of giving and his Tennessee Volunteers pride. Cecilia, along with her children, selects the award recipient each year, choosing nominees who reflect Kirk's character and commitment to putting others first. A former First American Rental employee herself — and the woman Kirk famously refused to let leave without a job offer — Cecilia is dedicated to honoring her husband's memory and inspiring the RTO community to serve beyond the storefront.
