Nick Robinson
Nick Robinson is an operations trainer and vendor liaison at RNR Tire Express, a rent-to-own tire and wheel company. He works hands-on in stores, teaching sales, shop work, and management, while also building vendor partnerships nationwide. Mentored early on by industry veteran David Harrison, Robinson learned that taking care of people matters more than mastering processes, a lesson shaped by his own upbringing. He entered the industry knowing nothing about tires, trained by a salesman who told him people skills mattered more than product knowledge. Robinson favors individualized, "why"-based training over classroom lectures, believes training can't be rushed, and sees most store problems as people problems rather than knowledge gaps. He never planned to become a trainer, originally aiming to be a district manager, and later ran his own business that failed, an experience he now credits with making him a better, more honest mentor.
