Author of Autism with a Side of Sushi, Kuri Yasuno, is a mom of two high school boys. Kuri moved the the US at the age of five from Japan. At that time, people thought sushi was gross, but now, everyone loves sushi. Much like sushi is now, Kuri writes in hopes to have society accept, appreciate, and embrace autism. Kuri shares her experience in learning about her child's diagnosis and what helped her.
