The Aging Mask is a Podcast dedicated to exploring the transformative power of Lifestyle Medicine. Here is where I will share with you what I have learned, and continue to learn as an "Ayurvedic Health Counselor".
Life Style Medicine is a complete healing system focused on giving you the tools and practices to create greater health and happiness on a daily basis by using your innate healing ability. We will also discuss, and do a deep dive into the
six (6) most important pillars of health; which are; sleep, movement/physical activity, healthy emotions, meditation, nutrition and self-care.
There is no" one size fits all" prescription for your well- being, it is experiential, which means the choices you make about your experiences shape your body and mind, including your choices about food, personal relationships, sensory experiences, sleep, work social interactions and daily routine. As you shift your experiences, your biology will shift because your biology is the metabolism of experience.

Healing Through the 5 Senses: The Sense of Sound (part 3/6)
In this 3/6 Episode of The Aging Mask Podcast I will be talking about the 2nd Sense-which is "Sound", and its Gateway to Healing; the Ears.
Sound surrounds us, from music, to voices, to silence, and the ears are our gateway to receive it all.
Sound is especially unique in that we do not have to “open” it. We do not have to see, touch, taste, or smell it, sound just seeps in, uninvited and unnoticed- and it affects us to our core. We can close our eyes, or hold our breath, but our ears, They are always OPEN.
Sound, like electricity and air is a powerful source, Its available. Its ancient. Yet but because it's invisible, we are so often unaware of the powerful influence SOUND has on our daily lives. Sound is one of the most UNDERUSED healing tools in Modern life.
Please join me as I unpack the healing potential of Sound; from calming tones and natures rhythms to the impact of noise pollution and over stimulation.
I will also share the role of the ears in lifestyle medicine, and how simply listening, intentionally can restore calm, regulate our nervous system, and reconnect us to the present moment.
Whether its the healing vibration of music, the grounding power of silence, or the importance of protecting what we allow into our auditory space, this episode will help you tune into sound with more mindfulness, and use it as medicine.
