Vitality isn't just about having energy, it's about having energy, it's about having glow, clarity and presence. It's when your digestion, mood, and radiance all align!

Today's episode is about food- specifically, 5 types of food Ayurveda recommends we avoid if we want to build better digestion, have more energy, and less inflammation.

I am talking about “FLUNC”-  a modern acronym that helps summarize certain dietary principles from traditional ayurveda. Now, it’s not a classic Ayurveda term, but it’s a clever mnemonic (nuh Monik)- a memory  aid- that has become popular in recent wellness circles to make the concepts I am going to share easier to remember, apply and share. 

FLUNC stands for :

Frozen-

Leftover

Unnatural-

Nuked (microwave)

Canned 

Five food habits that sound convenient, are convenient, but often lead to sluggish digestion, low vitality and a weakened connection between your body and mind.

Its catchy, right?  it’s easy to remember, and it’s a powerful reminder that not all food is created equal- even when it has the same calories, carbs or fat.

I will share what each one does in your system, why they matter from both an Ayurvedic and modern perspective, and how to make simple realistic  upgrades that support better digestion, more energy, and overall well-being.

Each of these relate to HOW food quality impacts digestion, energy, and overall wellness, especially the concept of Agni- your digestive fire- which is Huge and central to Ayurvedic thinking. 

Whether you are new to Ayurveda or just curious about how your daily meals might be affecting your mood and metabolism, this episode is full of grounded insight, relatable examples, and practical takeaways to help you feel your best. 

The goal here, and with everything I share with you is not “perfection’, it’s just about awareness,. It’s not meant to shame you, or complicate your life. It’s to help you feel better, digest better, think more clearly, and live with more vitality. And FLUNC , it’s just a tool to help you remember what to watch out for. Its food for thought- literally.
