Transfer addiction is a condition where you transfer or switch the psychological behaviour of coping with stress from one to another. In most cases, people after bariatric surgery (~25-30%) may transfer emotional eating to alcoholism; gambling; drug use; increased cigarette use and other damaging habits.

This comes with a cost to your physical, mental and emotional health.

Today we are discussing what is transfer addiction, signs that you might be experiencing it and where to go for help.
