I had made a post on my stories..

"I woke up feeling off, mostly anxious and overwhelmed. This used to consume my whole day and sometimes become days. I'd struggle with Haedyn, I'd feel so preoccupied with what was going on with me my patience was low, I'd get irritated and short with her all the time and have zero space to play. Things are different now. I did somatic breathing before I opened my eyes even though all I wanted to do was just lay in bed. I did some EFT tapping. I did some yoga and got into my body, even though that was the LAST thing I wanted to do. I did some meditation, even though I felt pressure to get going. Each step I could feel me slowly coming back. Now I feel back o ground zero and ready to take on the day."

It landed with several and I have so many people wondering.. but how did you start?

And it's easier then you think!

Save this and let it me a reminder of how to show up for yourself in the moments you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, worrying, intrusive thoughts, mom rage, guilty/ashamed, bitter, frustrated, irritable, afraid.

What we need to calm down in these moments is connection. The problem is, when we are feeling dysregulated in these moments, we are unable to connect. By making this a daily practice, it begins to build that connection.
