Bipartisan Housing Bill Announced
Welcome back, Dreammakers, to Today in Mortgages! In this episode, hosts Michael and Richard discuss if real legislation for housing is finally in the works.
We are seeing some bipartisan legislation coming together from this Scotsman Guide article: "Senators Scott and Warren release sweeping house package." The package is called The ROAD to Housing Act of 2025.
Lawmakers are trying to do their best to make housing more affordable. There's still limited information out there about it, but housing is being addressed. From what we can gather the main thing from the bill is to remove a lot of regulatory red tape, so builders can start building more homes.
We will be paying attention to these efforts, because we all realize the housing market needs help. Listen in as we discuss this and more.
