Let's Relieve Regret Podcast
You can be disappointed and still do stuff
In this episode, we begin Season Two!
This episode deals with regrets that have been weighing heavily on us. As always, we start with a check-in on how we've been doing. If you want to skip this part just jump ahead to 7:12.
Shadoe reveals that she has regrets following her action and inaction following a car accident in 2010 as well as how this continues to impact her wellbeing today.
During the feedback session, Victoria teaches Shadoe about the Reticular Activation System. We also have a deep discussion about the cycle of negative self talk.
Then, Victoria reveals a recent regret about stepping on the scale. From there we have a dynamic conversation about about how an obsession with weight has not made us healthier.
It turns out that although weight is tied to a lot of different memories for each of us, there is an overlap of expectations and very similar experiences!
We end the episode with 3 breaths of letting go; with refreshed mantras for Season 2!
Thank you for listening!
