Welcome to foHRsight – a podcast about making work better brought to you by future foHRward.

How did we get to Episode 3 so quickly!

In this seasonal episode we share our reflections on the year that was 2022, but before we got in to that it was a long overdue introduction to our dogs (Tilly, Cori and Charlie – images available on Instagram!) and did a check-in on our favourite Holiday traditions.

The year that was 2022

After a slow start, our sense was that 2022 was part of the much-needed process of developing a new (better) set of norms for work.  This involved a lot of test-and-learn, experimentation and maybe even a little bit of ‘paralysis from analysis’.

This is perhaps understandable as many leaders were cautious about setting clear expectations when they weren’t sure how their people would react – particularly in a very tight labour market.

It will be interesting how 2023 unfolds – we’ll cover that in a future episode!
