Lets us know your thoughts thru TEXT!
What if the choices you make today could transform your future, propelling you toward your dreams instead of leading you to a life of regret? Join me, Miguel Sanchez, as I share my personal journey of preparing for a bodybuilding show and explore the dynamic force of momentum in our lives. Facing the physical exhaustion and thrill of such a challenge, I realized how essential it is to direct momentum consciously through our daily actions. Too many people unknowingly set themselves on paths that lead to unfulfillment—but by making mindful, consistent improvements, we can steer our lives toward excitement and purpose.
This episode also underscores the urgency of living with purpose to avoid the sting of regret later in life. Many get caught in cycles of inaction, letting time slip by only to confront unfulfilled dreams at the end. Here, we aim to inspire proactive living, urging listeners to craft a life filled with intention and vitality. By seizing control of our choices now, we can ensure a future free of regret and brimming with energy and fulfillment. Listen in to learn how small, deliberate changes in your daily routine can yield monumental progress over time.

Hello, hello and welcome back everybody to Compounding Daily. I'm your host, miguel Sanchez, and welcome back to another episode. I appreciate you being here. I always start my episodes, especially lately, with a gratitude, because I've known that I'm shifting my focus a little bit, so I haven't been as active on social media. So if you're taking the time to be here listening to these short episodes that I've been releasing lately, I'm grateful to have you here. I hope I'm providing some sort of value and or entertainment, at least leading you to a place of contemplation where you now get to question the things that you're doing and make a better plan because of the things that we're speaking about here. And, with that being said, episode 106, thank you for being here Another solo episode.
Speaker 1:I sit here by myself and it's on purpose lately, and it's because I physically feel exhausted and I don't want to waste energy in things that aren't required at the moment. And for me, the setting up the camera, setting up the lights, making the reels to me there's just not a priority at the moment. So, as I sit here by myself, I like to focus on how I feel. I've never felt the way that I feel at the moment before, as I'm in prep as I get closer in the recording of this episode. It's eight weeks out until I step on stage for my bodybuilding show, and something that I've been wanting to speak about lately has become a theme of how I've been presenting my feelings to people in regards to the actions that I've been taking lately, and it sounds a little funny, but there's so much depth in it and it goes like this I tell people I've never been so physically exhausted in my life but at the same time, I've never felt more alive, and it's because I know I'm doing something difficult, it's because I've been telling people that I was planning on doing this show I'm talking about a year and a half in advance. So to be eight weeks out to see the results of the work and effort that has gone into my physical body to get the results wanted, it's something that I encourage everybody to experience. Not the bodybuilding part, but the part where you are challenging yourself, where you are learning about yourself, where you are learning your limits, where you are mentally breaking down, where life is testing you, as you're already testing yourself. All of these things matter and, with that being said, the theme of that is momentum is what I wanted to speak about today and, most importantly, this is the title of the episode today is you decide in which direction momentum goes.
Speaker 1:Understand something Momentum is built by repetition, and I know I'm not saying anything ludicrous here. I know I'm not saying something mind-boggling. It's so simple Momentum is built and created by the things that you choose to repeat, keyword being choose. So I highly encourage you, as an individual, to observe the things that you repeat, because the things that you repeat lead you to a destination where you become right, and most people are building momentum unconsciously. They're just going through the motions. They wake up, they're not thinking about consequences, they're just eating because they're hungry, they're just driving because they have to.
Speaker 1:You know what I mean, but most people aren't purposely creating momentum in your life, and it is not a secret, and it is of no surprise when you are being told that the best you and anything that you desire is on the other side of momentum, which means that you have to be consistent, which means that you have to show up often, more often than not, which means now emotions are being put aside. It's not about how you feel, it's about the things that need to get done, and most people simply are building momentum, but in the wrong direction. Right, they're consistently showing up as the lesser version of themselves. They're consistently allowing time to pass by as they choose to do not much with their life. And then they wonder where is the time going? When is it going to be my turn to win? When is it going to be my turn to experience life change, etc. Etc. And I'm here to tell you that the second you become mindful about the choices you are making and start eliminating a little bit out of time, the ones that you know are holding you back, and then, and in return, you are now creating room for better choices, not drastic changes that make you feel uncomfortable, even though the whole process will be uncomfortable.
Speaker 1:I'm talking about that little 1% I talk about so much. I'm talking about the reason this show was even created. Right, compounding daily, one little choice made over time, over a long period of time, is earning that 1%, is making progress, is leading you towards a destination of your choosing. But if you are not building momentum, you're not going to get anywhere. And I've been on both sides of the coins. I've been building momentum for a long time and then I turn it off and I can feel the momentum being lost, and then I can feel the difficulties in getting the vehicle moving again, and eventually you get to a point where now you are in control of how much momentum is being pushed, where Because the better you get at it, the more clarity you have of the vision and the goals that you're trying to achieve you, as an individual, have a responsibility to decide in which direction momentum is being built, and either that momentum is leading you somewhere inspiring, somewhere of your choosing, somewhere where you are enthusiastic at the arrival or the creation of, or to experience, something.
Speaker 1:I feel like it is a responsibility as a human being to live our life to our utmost self, and it's easy to allow the excuses and the fears to overcome us, but I find pleasure and joy and simplicity and when I say simplicity I mean the simple things, because it's easy to wake up and not care about your day, right, it's slightly more difficult to wake up and give a fuck about your day, but at the end of the day, it's very simple to say this isn't working for me, this isn't working for me, this needs to be gone, this needs to be done more, this needs to be replaced, this needs to be eliminated. I don't like how this makes me feel I'm getting rid of this. I'm going to find something that fills me more with joy. Maybe I'm suppressing something with one of the hobbies that I'm repeating, and you know, these are just conversations that you get to have with yourself and in those conversations, you, what you are doing at least from my experience, in my opinion, of course is becoming a friend Excuse me becoming a friend with yourself.
Speaker 1:You are building the relationship with the self and over time, as that relationship gets better, to build momentum gets better, because you are no longer battling against yourself, you are no longer progressing, regressing, progressing, regressing, building momentum, losing momentum. Now you're building momentum, building momentum, losing momentum. Now you're building momentum, building momentum, building momentum. Maybe a little bit of a loss? Then continue building momentum, building momentum, and if you do that over a long period of time, you'll arrive at whatever predestination you were imagining in your own mind.
Speaker 1:And to some people that may sound ludicrous and that may sound a little bit far-fetched and oh well, that's not how life works. Sometimes life gets in the way, yeah, but you get to decide the perspective in which you believe, and that is a perspective in which I believe in, and it is the perspective that allows me to show up the way that I show up, which is consistently disciplined, enthusiastic most of the time, you know. But I'm human and I go through the difficulties and the fears and the doubts and the lack of enthusiasm at times, and that's just part of the journey. But at the end of the day, are you repeating things consistently enough that are leading you to a destination of your choosing? And if the answer is yes, congratulations, you're part of the 1%. And if the answer is no, how long are you going to remain there? You're listening to this, so obviously you're not part of those people who is idling waiting for something to happen.
Speaker 1:If you're listening to this, chances are that you are already setting things in motion. But here's the understanding and and I'm I know I sound like a broken record at this point, which is why this is a solo short episode, but I can't emphasize enough you become what you repeat. You become what you repeat. You repeat good decisions, good choices, healthy foods, the things that are enthusiastic to the mind. You will become the kind of person that attracts those kind of things, that grows and learns and starts challenging life before life challenges you. You can choose to become that kind of person that is consistently seeking challenges, building momentum towards a better you, and that's a journey that we can all choose to experience. But, most simply, don't you become what you repeat and you get to decide the direction in which momentum is being built. And I'll end it with this In which direction are you heading? Imagine you change nothing about what you are doing today.
Speaker 1:Right, let's just put this last week into perspective. Are you proud of yourself? Are you proud of everything that you've done? Are you satisfied with the results that are being given back to you from life? And if the answer is yes, again, congratulations. That's a huge deal. And if you're there, appreciate that and find gratitude in that, because you are a rare individual.
Speaker 1:Most people are simply not there. They know they're not making good decisions, they're allowing time to pass them by. Their dreams will remain dreams and they'll wonder why, where did they go wrong? How could things have been different? But they'll find that a little too late, when the sickness has already kicked in, when the lack of energy is present and when, simply, life is fading away. And that is when those thoughts of regrets start growing roots and corrupting the mind, and I do everything in my power to make sure that I don't arrive there, which is why I live with purpose, which is why I encourage you to live with purpose. You are building momentum in a direction, and which direction is it you decide. Thank you for listening. As always, it's a pleasure, and which direction is it you decide. Thank you for listening, as always, it's a pleasure, and until next time.
