EP141- There will ALWAYS be a test.
Lets us know your thoughts thru TEXT!
Say you want more—more growth, more purpose, more results—and life will always test you to see if you’re serious.
It rarely happens right away. First comes the delay, the resistance, the moment where it feels like nothing’s working. That’s the test. Not punishment—proof. Proof of how deep your desire really runs.
Every time we ask for more, the universe responds with a question: How bad do you want this? And the answer isn’t in what we say, it’s in what we do—how we show up when it gets uncomfortable, inconvenient, or unclear.
The truth is, life doesn’t hand out upgrades without verification. It gives you small moments to demonstrate your consistency, your patience, and your faith in what you said you wanted.
So when that next setback hits, don’t rush to label it as rejection. See it for what it is: a checkpoint, not a stop sign. Because the test isn’t meant to break you—it’s meant to reveal that you’re ready.

Hello and welcome back everybody to compounding daily. I'm your host, Miguel Sanchez, and welcome back to another episode, episode 141. First and foremost, as always, I begin with expressing gratitude. I understand and value the gift called time. And I know for you to choose to spend it here with me, even if for a few minutes, I always hope to give you some sort of value, something more than just entertainment. Uh, so you get something out of this. So we both gain something out of this. So as always, thank you for being here. And uh let's get right into it. Before I get into today's topic, I always like to emphasize on the importance of beginning a new week with the right attitude. The understanding that the attitude that you present in the world is essentially what leads to your actions, what leads to your train of thoughts, what leads to your experiences. And uh I, for one, uh for most of my life was getting negative feedback from life. And I always wanted people to change, I always wanted circumstances to change, but rarely did I turn to myself and say, I needed to change. And it was ironically, when I did exactly that and I pointed the finger instead of to the world, I turned it around and pointed it to myself and said, You're the problem. First, you must change your attitude, and let's see how the world reacts to that. So I started showing up with a different attitude. That doesn't mean I'm the overenthusiastic guy who's screaming at his, you know, top of his lungs into the first thing in the morning. But I show up with a good perspective. I smile, I say, good morning. You know, I go out of my way to make sure people are recognized. Um it's it's the little things that make the day-to-day more enjoyable as you work and progress towards the things that you desire. So a good attitude and a good perspective and a good conversation internally is what is required for you to begin the week with a positive outlook, which then in the long term leads to a positive return. And that is I ironically, exactly what we're gonna talk about. Um, today's message is gonna be short. Uh, as always, lately I've just been sitting down and allowing my mind to speak about the things that I'm going through and that find value in it. Uh, I don't know if that's how everybody else works, but that is how I believe as an individual I've gotten better. Simply because I am observing my day-to-day, and I am observing the things that I can consider lessons and values, and I believe that if I can find those things in my day-to-day, which is pretty normal compared to your average person, I believe that there is always something that could be shared that may uh serve you uh as it is serving me. And lately I've been thinking about uh how life has a funny way of always giving a test. And uh I always used to question it. I always used to say, Well, why is there always a test? Well, I approach everything and understand this is strictly opinionated, right? This is just my perspective of the world, um, which which could be perceived as wrong to by some people, but it will work for me. Uh, I believe that life has a funny way of making sure that you are deserving of the things that you have, and that can be both positive and negative. I believe that life doesn't discriminate. I believe that life has everything that you want and need, but before it just hands it over, which it doesn't, it might it makes sure that you are the kind of person that is deserving of, and that plays for all aspects of life. Understand something, and this is what I want to emphasize on there. Is always gonna be a test, a test is always going to be in the way because from my experience, the second you speak out into the universe, this is what I want. Life says, and that you may have with consideration that this is what you overcome. If that makes sense. Uh I wish that I could repeat that, right? But then listen to the value in that. Uh, it's it's it's a way of life saying, before I give you what you want, you must first prove to me that you have the characteristics, that you have overcame the difficulties of a person that is worth having this. And to wake up and expect life to just hand you things, to wake up and just say, I want life to treat me on easy mode, meaning like things will be given to me. My dreams I don't have to work hard for. Uh, everything will just be a a a life on easy mode, and I I find it fascinating that life just doesn't allow that to happen. Those people who stay in comfort, those people who who get help from left and right and never overcome a challenge on their own, are the people who are, from my observation, typically the most miserable. It's the ones who have overcame, it's the ones who have said, I want something more out of life. And then when life said, Okay, well, what are you willing to do for it? They said anything. And then they went out and with their actions, with their time, with their efforts, with their consistency, they proved to life that this is exactly what I want, and I'm willing to do what I have to for it. And when you understand that, then your day-to-day now changes because you are no longer expecting things to be given to you. You are now saying, Well, what can I do to increase productivity? What can I do to get closer to my goals? Because that's what life is about. None of us are gonna get out of it on scathed, right? It's all about setting goals, having an imagination about the life you wish to create, the things you want to experience, but setting realistic boundaries, set setting the realistic expectations that is not going to be easy. The understanding that the bigger the the want, the bigger the pay that's gonna be required from you, and there is no negotiating that and then that's why I find life to be so um abundant because it does have everything that you want, but I also find it to be super fair because it's not just giving it out to anyone and everyone. Now, have you ever come across uh an undeserving individual who you feel doesn't deserve what they have? Sure, right? But who are we to pass that judgment? Who are we to say who deserves what and who doesn't? I believe we we are not in that position to judge, so instead we just allow life to handle that, take that headache away from us, and instead focus on how can I, as an individual, approach my day-to-day so that over a long period of time with my consistent actions, I've proven to life that I am becoming worthy of the dreams I continue to have and speak out loud. When you approach life with that on your day-to-day, you'll start seeing signs, you'll start seeing things that are meant to serve as stepping stones. You'll understand that the difficulties that are you consider an inconvenience, the things that you wonder why is happening to you. Well, maybe you're being tested. Maybe you said something recently and you said out loud, I don't want this anymore, I want something more. And life said, Okay, well, let's see how bad you want it. Because unfortunately, life doesn't show up with a piece of paper and multiple choice and says, Hey, pick A through B or A through D, whatever the case may be. You know, it doesn't say here's an open-ended question. I just need you to answer this, and I'll I hear if you pass the test, I'll give you what you want. It doesn't work that way. Sometimes the test comes in the form of a heartbreak, sometimes the the test comes in the form of a layoff. Sometimes the test comes in the form of losing a loved one as soon as you spoke into the world that you wanted something more. A test is now there that says, How bad do you want it? Because now you're in a position where difficulties are present. For most people, for the average, for the mediocre, for the people who don't want difficulties, when the test presents itself, they turn around, they go back, they say, Maybe I don't want it as bad. And then over a long period of time, just say things like, Well, I just never got my lucky break. No, no, no. You were given the test and you didn't even fail it, you just gave up and you turned around. It's not that you didn't get a lucky break, it's that you said you wanted something out of life, but you didn't specify that you wanted it to be handed to you. And life doesn't do that. Life gives fairly and justly, and I believe in karma, and I believe in being a good character, and I believe if on your day-to-day you go out of your way to serve, to make somebody's day, to be of service to somebody, to make somebody smile, to remind somebody why they're important. If you are that kind of individual, and time after time you go out of your way to show appreciation for this gift called life, to not just speak words without action, without you know, meaning or purpose behind them. Most people speak for the sake of speaking, but what if you said I want this, and then after you stop talking, you took action. And when life says, Okay, he's taking action, she's taking action, she's moving in a direction, all right. Here's a test, boom, a difficulty, a difficulty you are not expecting, a difficulty that will steer most people off path, if not make them turn around completely. But if you are serious about getting better as an individual, if your goal is to reach the end of your life fulfilled, the saying, wow, so many dreams, so many things accomplished, look at what I've done with my life. If that's what you're aiming for, then when a test is presented to you, you don't turn around, you don't back away, you embrace it, understanding that even if it's difficult, even if you fail, as long as you don't quit and you continue to persevere on the other side of that difficulty, may be the very thing that you want. You just have to persevere past the test. So, will you continue to just speak meaningless words? I want, I want, I want, or will you think about what will be required of you? What will you have to become? What will you have to create? What will you have to learn in order to get that thing that you want? Most people don't think about that, and therefore they never get. When life gives you a test, how will you react to it? Will you persevere or will you regress? That's the question. That's the topic. Think about it, and together let's get better.
