True Self vs. False Self: Finding Your Way Back to Authenticity

1. True Self vs. False Self

- We hit roadblocks or face rejection of our true gifts/essence as children
- To cope, we either exaggerate our gifts or try to lessen them
- We develop conditional thinking: "I'll be loved/accepted if..."
3. Returning to the True Self
- Requires honest self-examination and acknowledging where we're living from the false self
- Involves recognizing and healing past hurts that led to false self development
- Means living from a place of unconditional love and acceptance, rather than striving for approval
