Jeff Young

Jeff Young, Kinesiologist, CSCS, ACSM-EIM has a unique set of skills and experience that allows him to provide valuable insights and solutions to clinicians, fitness professionals, and laypeople. 

Through his roles as the President-elect of the American College of Sports Medicine's Greater New York Regional chapter, Chair of the National Strength and Conditioning Association's Special Populations SIG, adjunct lecturer at CUNY York College, and his work as a subject matter expert for various organizations including LNG Canada - a $40 billion project, he has developed a deep understanding of medical fitness and strength and conditioning. 

He is dedicated to using this knowledge to help others improve their health and well-being through personalized, principle-based approaches, as well as educate clinicians on how to bridge the gap between their field of expertise and fitness/medical fitness.

Dr. Thomas Hammett

Thomas Hammett, DPT, DipACLM, is a leader focused on transforming medical practice methods to better address chronic disease. He has served as the Director of Clinical Services for Pinnacle Medical Wellness since March 2019, helping to manage the daily operations of Lifestyle Medicine-focused clinics for multiple medical groups, and provides consulting and training for clinicians and leaders in adopting Lifestyle Medicine practice. 

Thomas has over 10 years of work experience in facilitating a wide variety of small and large professional groups around values-based behavior change and teamwork. Since receiving his DPT, Thomas has received an advanced board certification as a Certified Lifestyle Medicine Professional by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM). He serves as one of the founding members of the PT/OT MIG of the ACLM and as a reviewer on the Program Selection Workgroup for the Private Practice Section of the APTA.
