Q1 : How to say no to food offers? I constantly get offered food at work. We also always get gifts from work in form of chocolates or other sweets on celebrations. So I end up passing on chocolates to people who have family or kids at home. I’m not scared of chocolates or sweets I just don’t crave them as such. And even if I say no thanks people always insists ( you know how it is with office couture. But if I take it and throw out later I feel bad for wasting. Even though I didn’t want it in first place. I once told my manager I don’t like chocolates (which is partially true) so now she buy everyone chocolate and I get box of cookies. 🤷🏻♀️
Q2 : Resistance - where does this come from and why is it so powerful where weight loss is concerned? Resistance to food tracking. Using the hunger scale. Meal planning and prep. Why is the fear of failure so strong that it can stop you from doing what you KNOW will potentially save your life?
Q3 : Would love more info on the connection of people pleasing and overeating and how it literally plays out..
