Kim Carlos

Kim is a technology product marketer that has struggled with obesity and eating disorders most of her life. She joined a TikTok community in 2022 to learn more about the GLP1 medication, Saxsenda, which her GP has prescribed to treat her obesity and cause weight loss. She found a community there and began to heal mentally and physically through the medication and support of people just like her. She reached out to the community to gauge interest in a podcast to flip the narrative being spun in the media around obesity being treated medically. Kim wants to reach those who are struggling with obesity and let them know they are not alone, there is care available, and it's not their fault.
