- when you can sit with yourselves and take even just 5 minutes to ask yourself what it is that you need or are you getting what you need are you then in a position to be empowered. We can't expect others to know what we need or be helpful if we don't even know ourselves.
We invite you to sit with yourself for 3 1/2 minutes and be guided through this brief yet centering guided meditation. We invite you to pull it up when ever and where ever you are and to get to know yourself better.

The purpose of today's podcast is to be used as a guided meditation. Most of the time, all we need is five minutes to sit with ourselves and reset. We invite you and give you permission to pause and take a moment for yourself. Please note that you can stay on any of these steps for as little or as long as you would like. Let's get started. First come to a nice, comfortable seated position. Crown of the head up towards the sky. Feet resting comfortably on the floor. Palms resting in your lap. Close your eyes and take a big deep breath. And settle in. Ask yourself, what do I need in this moment? I am I hungry? Am I tired. Am I thirsty. Do I need to rest or do I need to move my body? Do I need to be alone. Or do I need to be around people? Now. Scan your body head down to your toes. And see what you feel in your physical body. Do you feel pain? Or do you feel calm? Do you feel tension? Or do you feel nothing? And note where you are experiencing these sensations. Take another deep breath in. And let it go. Now let's check in with your emotional body. Are you happy? Or are you sad? Are you anxious? Or are you joyful? Are you overwhelmed? Or at peace. Are you worried? Or are you scared? Take note of what emotions may be coming up. And just feel them. Now take another deep breath in. And settle in just a bit deeper. What is the state of your mental body? Is your mind racing? Is it hard to focus? Or is it stuck on one repeating thought? Take another deep breath in. And settle just a bit more. Take note for what came up for you. With your physical body. Your emotional body. Or your mental body. Feeling these sensations. Give you information about what it is that you need. Take another deep breath in. Let it go. Open the eyes, when you feel ready. And resume your day.
