Charles Greathouse

Charles joined the High Impact team fall of 2022 and serves as the Chief Growth Officer. Charles’s career started in 2010 at Walmart. During his 12-year career there he was able to learn and grow through various roles starting with Merchandising. 

His passion for helping others, using data effectively and stewarding customer trust led to significant category growth and the Buyer of the Year award. From buying Charles was asked to Product Management for the Digital Merchant Product team launching Flight Deck and several other tools used by the entire merchandising org. His last role with Walmart started as a special assignment from the EC, charged with developing and launching the data monetization arm of Walmart US, Data Ventures and its first product to market, Walmart Luminate. After growing up in St. Louis, Missouri, Charles graduated from John Brown University Spring of 2010 with a double major in Business Administration and Leadership and Management.

James Harris

James’ background began in sales, analytics and replenishment began at Walmart in 1999. After leaving Walmart, he spent nine years with CPG brands, mostly at Unilever Foods on the Walmart team, followed by two years on the Target team. Additionally, he spent two years as the Director of Mass Sales for Sleep Innovations, which gave him exposure to many other retailers, including Sam’s Club, Kohl’s, Amazon, and of course, Walmart and Target. James started High Impact in 2007 with the vision to partner with emerging and mid-tier brands doing business at Walmart, to operate as an extension of their own teams and execute with excellence at Walmart and beyond. James lives in Rogers, Arkansas, with his wife Amy and their three children Ellie, Drew, and TJ. In his free time, he enjoys water sports with his family, music, theater, basketball, and trying his best not to kill the plants in his garden.
