This podcast takes a raw, authentic, heartfelt, and often humorous look at the deep wounds left by being unprotected, unloved, and unwanted. Abandoned and abused as a child, Lisa Schafer, Founder of Christian Drama Queen Solutions, shares the wounds that shaped her choices, her faith, and her understanding of God, as well as the healing and redemption Jesus gave her during her 40-year search for answers to painful questions. If you’ve ever struggled to "let go" of trauma or wrestled with bitterness, Lisa offers a seat at the table.

The church always has the best of intentions. But parents of children who have struggled with physical or emotional trauma can tell you, their ignorance can inflict unintentional harm. Kristen Brock is a speaker, coach, trainer/facilitator, and host of the podcast Jesus,
Justice + Mercy. As a solo mom of three sons, two through adoption from foster care, she weaves lived experience with professional expertise at the intersection of trauma, race, adoption, and faith. With an MS in Marriage & Family Counseling and an MA in Theology & Social Justice in progress, Kristen speaks, trains, and coaches in two primary areas: trauma, helping individuals and organizations/churches pursue healing, and social justice, equipping Christians to engage their faith with clarity and courage. She also walks alongside women navigating the tension between inherited faith and a growing call to justice.
