《單車失竊記》的部份內容有魔幻寫實的味道，讀著讀著想起《百年孤寂》，不過是亞洲版的！叢林內的情節又教我記起《靈山》。

而令這本書突出的則是由單車貫穿的故事主軸，既物質(真實摸得到)又奇幻，非常特別，我尤其喜愛與動物相關的情節。
