Cabernet Franc: The Underrated Parent
In this episode we dive into Cabernet Franc and explain why it’s considered ‘The Underrated Parent’. We were fortunate to try 2 Cabernet Franc’s, one from Geelong and the other from Loire. They were a 2024 Yayoi Wines Cabernet Franc, Geelong, VIC and a 2021 Plume Cabernet Franc, Bruno Debois, Saumur Champigny, Loire, FRA. Both delicious in different ways. Jason also demonstrates how to use a Lever Corkscrew and Trent provides an overview of the Rootlings program. It’s a Wine Industry Youth Network to help grow, develop, foster, and knowledge share young members of the wine industry. To find out more check out https://www.rootlings.com.au
