S2 EP 009 - Finding your food freedom w/ Sophie Rindfleish, Dietician @healthybodhealthymind and co-founder of @sosos_runclub
Another cracking episode from the booth this week as host Kieran Maguire sits down with practising dietician and social media maestro Sophie Rindfleish @healthybodhealthymind. As an online dietician and co-founder of the hugely popular Brisbane run club known as @sosos_runclub, Sophie's not one to shy away from a busy schedule as she balances clients, career, social life and training for her very first half-marathon later this year (she hates running gels and will likely tell you about it).
Leveraging the powerful reach of social media, she's grown a significant following for her gentle and nurturing approach to food that promotes flexibility and forgiveness as opposed to restriction or restraint. Alongside her business partner Sofie, she's also created the immensely successful Sosos Run Club, fostering community and connection for anyone that wants to get out outside, meet new people and bond through exercise.
In today's episode, we cover:
- Sophie's journey through her undergraduate degree, subsequent masters degree and first steps into the workforce
- Discuss common diet pitfalls and misconceptions that she's seen in her career
- Unpack why social media can be such an incredible and equally divisive tool when it comes to the health and wellness industry
- Why she hates running gels and prefers energy blocks
