Grab your Keys and Go
Ever wondered what it really takes to say a BIG YES?
Join Mel and Nat In Season 5 as we pull back the curtain and talk to mums who’ve done just that (said a big YES) - sharing the messy, magical behind-the-scenes of what it took to make it happen (spoiler: it’s never as simple as it looks).
If you’ve said YES to something that changed your life, we’d love to hear your story. This is you if:
- You are a Mum
- You’ve said a big YES (eg: longer period of time away from your family, something that costs a lot of money, study, life long dream that you have always put to the side, competition etc)
- Love a good conversation
- Happy to share your story
- Inspired by peoples stories

Episode 23. Special Guest Tracy
This was a beautiful conversation with Tracy around supporting parents of LGBTQIA + children with a unique Grab Your Keys and Go solution.
Sometimes a Grab Your Keys and Go moment is actually going off to get some much needed support. Reaching out for support when you need to hold space for your children is not always the first thing we think about.
Mumma's are always putting their children's needs first, always seeking support for their children and often leaving themselves out of the equation.
When the best thing you can do is get support for yourself.
Tracy so wonderfully explains that our feelings and thoughts and experiences as a parent of an LGBTQIA+ child who is coming out are important to allow space for.
Your feelings matter and you get to feel them, and you get to explore them in a safe environment.
Acknowledging and understanding your feelings and thoughts can be of great benefit not only to yourself but to the space you can hold for your LGBTQIA+ child.
You can show up for your child as you will have more capacity and more tools to be a safe place as their thoughts and feelings arrive and they navigate their own journey.
I love it when Tracy says that the struggle is real and so is the love, which is of course where her book begins.
This is a book for everyone so we can all become an ally. xx
