#109 "Resilient Ron" Bellinger: From Gastric Bypass to Boston Qualifier

Maverick and Wolfman

This episode features special guest Ron Bellinger.  Ron is a dad, former collegiate runner (ESU) , former coach, and marathoner.  Ron weighed over 300# prior to having gastric bypass surgery, just over 2 years ago.  Initially Ron had difficulty just walking (14-15 minute mile)  but now has progressed to the point of hitting the BQ (Boston Qualifying) time in the marathon.  Ron is a new man with a plan.  Ron's new found resiliency has helped him do the unimaginable and now he can even run with his 15 year old son.

Ron also runs to help bring awareness to a charitable organization called  Kids Can't Fight Cancer Alone.
