Episode 100! | My First Mentor: Mal Emery aka Australia’s “Millionaire Maker” (#100)

Episode 100 of Self Maid is a very special one for me.

Before any of the businesses, before the growth, before the success — Mal Emery was my first mentor in business. Before he retired from coaching, I was fortunate enough to be one of his last coaching students, and the lessons he shared with me early on shaped the way I think about leadership, business, and life to this day.

Sitting down to interview Mal now feels like a true full circle moment. To go from student to business owner, and now to host him on the podcast after building something I’m proud of, is something I don’t take lightly.

Last year, Mal also brought me up on stage at his big reunion event on the Gold Coast to speak about my journey and the success I’ve had; a moment I’ll never forget and one I’m incredibly grateful for.

This episode is about mentorship, legacy, discipline, and what it really means to play the long game in business. It’s also a moment of reflection and gratitude; for Mal, for the Self Maid community, and for everyone who’s been part of the journey to 100 episodes.
