The Empowered with Ash Podcast
Welcome to Empowered with Ash — the podcast for women who are ready to create lasting change in their health, fitness, and mindset. Each episode dives deep into real conversations, practical tools, and the unfiltered truths about what it actually takes to build strength inside and out.
I’m your host, Ashleigh, an online health and fitness coach who helps busy women lose fat, build muscle, and step into the most confident version of themselves — WITHOUT giving up pizza or spending every day in the gym 🍕✨
Because let’s be real — true health is about so much more than workouts and nutrition. t’s about nurturing your mind, your body, and your soul. On this podcast, we talk about the whole picture — from discipline and self-care to faith and purpose — because lasting transformation starts when you put God at the center of it all. 🙏💫
Whether you’re here to improve your relationship with food, find joy in movement again, or learn how to balance your goals with real life, this podcast will guide you every step of the way.
It’s time to ditch the all-or-nothing mindset, reclaim your power, and build the body and life you love — one empowered, faith-led decision at a time. 💪💖

Gena Taylor: Overcoming Eating Disorders + Becoming "Fit Without Obsession"
🎙 This week’s guest: my business bestie, Gena Taylor!
Gena is the owner of A Stronger Tomorrow LLC, and she’s a food freedom, fitness, and body confidence coach who specializes in helping perfectionist women heal food guilt and build a body they love — without obsession or restrictive habits.
In this episode, Gena gets vulnerable as she opens up about her past eating disorders — from restricting food so much that she didn’t have the energy to walk up and down the stairs or even get dressed, to overindulging and gaining 50 pounds in a month.
She shares it all — and how she’s worked hard to get to a place where she now lives “Fit Without Obsession,” treating her body and mind with love, grace, and kindness. 💛
✨ Hope you enjoy this powerful, vulnerable and heartfelt conversation!
⚠️ Trigger Warning: This episode includes discussions of eating disorders.
